The Iranian embassy in Beirut hosted on Thursday dozens of political, security and social figures who offered condolences on the martyrdom of 13 worshippers in a terrorist attack on Shiraz holy shrine last week.

Head of Hezbollah's Executive Council Sayyed Hashem Safieddine, Head of Head of Hezbollah Politburo Sayyed Ibrahim Amin Al-Sayyed, and Head of Hezbollah's Loyalty to Resistance Parliamentary bloc MP Mohammad Raad led the condoling figures.

Sayyed Safieddine stressed that the terrorist scheme which hit the Islamic Republic is itself behind the woes of the regional countries, adding that this plot would be frustrated.

MP Raad indicated that Hezbollah shares the grief of the Islamic Republic and the confrontation with the international terror scheme sponsored by the US administration aimed at striking not only security and stability across the Islamic World but also the civilization pattern of the Islamic Republic
