TEHRAN, April 28 (MNA) – President Ebrahim Raeisi felicitated the winning Iran national men's futsal team in the AFC Futsal Asian Cup Thailand final on Sunday.In a message, President Raeisi congratulated the victory of Iran's national men's futsal team in the AFC Futsal Asian Cup.

President's message read, "The mighty and valuable championship of our country's national futsal team in the 2024 Asian Nations Cup in Thailand made all sports-loving Iranians proud and joyful." "I congratulate the honorable nation of Iran on this brilliant victory which is another sign of the merit and excellence of competencies of the country's youth, and sincerely thank each member of the national team, coaches, technical staff, and other activists in the country's sports field to win this valuable title, hoping that this victory will continue in other sports events" the message further read.

The 12-time champions Iran faced Thailand in the final of the 2024 AFC Futsal Asian Cup in Bangkok on Sunday.

The match ended 4-1 for the Iranian team.
