TEHRAN, April 27 (MNA) – Iranian President Ebrahim Raeisi congratulated the National Day of South Africa.Raeisi extended felicitations to the government and the people of South Africa on South Africa's National Day.

In a message to the President of South Africa Cyril Ramaphosa, Raeisi congratulated South Africa's National Day.

He expressed hope that the bilateral relations between the two countries would further expand in the international arena.

Freedom Day is a public holiday in South Africa celebrated on 27 April.

It commemorates the first post-apartheid elections held on that day in 1994 and the day on which the new constitution was introduced.
