Islamic Resistance in Iraq carried out a new attack on the Zionist entity on Monday, staging a drone strike on an Israeli air base in occupied Golan.

In a statement, the resistance group in Iraq said its fighters “targeted, at dawn on Monday, March 18, 2024, using drones, a military airbase for the Zionist occupation's unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in the occupied Golan Heights.” The Islamic Resistance affirmed it would go ahead and escalate operations “during the blessed month of Ramadan to strike the enemy's strongholds, as part of the second phase of resisting the occupation, in support of our people in Gaza and in response to the Zionist massacres.”

Earlier on Thursday, the Islamic Resistance in Iraq declared a drone strike on the Israeli Palmachim Airbase, located on the Mediterranean coast, some 12 km south of Tel Aviv.

The Iraqi resistance has been firing missiles and staging drones strike on several hostile targets across Iraq and the Zionist entity, in support of the Palestinian resistance against the brutal Israeli aggression on the besieged Gaza.
