Zionist-US Aggression on Yemen Leaves 166 Martyrs and Wounded
Ministry of Health: Cowardly Attacks Target Civilian Sites in Sana’a and Al-Jawf
Yemen, PUREWILAYAH.COM - The Yemeni Ministry of Health and Environment announced that the number of victims from the joint Zionist-American aggression on the capital Sana’a and Al-Jawf Governorate has climbed to 166 martyrs and wounded in a provisional count.
In its statement, the Ministry confirmed the martyrdom of 35 civilians and the injury of 131 others as a result of the barbaric attacks.
The toll in Sana’a alone stands at 28 martyrs and 113 wounded, while in Al-Hazm District of Al-Jawf, seven civilians were martyred and 18 wounded.
Rescue teams continue to sift through the ruins of homes, workplaces, and public facilities deliberately bombed by the criminal Zionist enemy, in search of survivors and the bodies of martyrs.
False Claims Exposed – Media Outlets Bombed
The Yemeni Armed Forces firmly rejected the enemy’s fabricated claims of targeting missile launch sites. In reality, the Zionist airstrikes deliberately struck purely civilian sites, including the offices of 26 September and Al-Yemen newspapers.
Journalists, including women reporters, were among the martyrs and wounded, alongside ordinary citizens and passersby.
“This savage aggression will not pass without a decisive and punishing response,” the Armed Forces vowed.
Leadership Vows Retaliation
President of the Supreme Political Council, Field Marshal Mahdi Mohammed Al-Mashat, declared that the Wednesday afternoon assault on Yemen was a total failure, warning the Zionists to remain in constant fear:
“The response is coming — without question. This aggression only gives us greater opportunity to retaliate with all the force at our disposal.”
Targeted Medical and Government Facilities
The afternoon bombing of Sana’a claimed more martyrs and wounded when the enemy struck the Moral Guidance Department in Al-Tahrir Square.
The Yemeni Oil Company confirmed that the Zionist warplanes also hit a medical facility serving the health sector on Sixty Street in the southwest of the capital.
In Al-Jawf, the aggression targeted the main government complex in Al-Hazm District.
Brigadier General Yahya Saree stated that Yemeni air defenses launched several surface-to-air missiles, forcing some enemy aircraft to retreat and foiling most of the attack by the grace of Allah.
Aggression Will Not Break Yemen’s Support for Gaza
This latest round of Zionist-American crimes aims to coerce Yemen into abandoning its unwavering solidarity with Gaza. Yet far from deterring the Yemeni people, the atrocities have only strengthened their resolve.
Yemen continues to escalate strategic operations deep inside the enemy’s heartland — the most recent being the precision strike on Ramon Airport just two days ago.
