Zionist Regime Assassinated Director of Turkish Aid Organisation in Central Gaza

Saqr Al-Qaisi, director of Deniz Feneri, was martyred while delivering humanitarian aid to displacement camps as Zionist violence continues across the besieged strip.

GAZA — A Zionist airstrike has assassinated a prominent Palestinian aid worker and director of a Turkish relief organisation in central Gaza, adding to the mounting death toll of humanitarian workers targeted by the occupying entity.

Saqr Al-Qaisi, the Palestinian director of the Turkish charity Deniz Feneri, was martyred on Sunday, October 4, when a Zionist drone strike targeted the vehicle he was travelling in through Deir al-Balah.

According to reports from local media, including Quds News Network and Al-Jazeera, Al-Qaisi was travelling between displacement camps to oversee and deliver much-needed humanitarian assistance, including hot meals, to the besieged Palestinian population.

The targeted assassination not only claimed the life of Al-Qaisi but also left at least nine other civilians wounded. Bystanders walking on the sidewalk or crossing the road were caught in the blast, with several victims reportedly in critical condition.

This targeted killing comes amidst a relentless campaign of violence and genocide across the Gaza Strip. According to the Gaza Ministry of Health, at least nine Palestinians have been martyred and 18 injured by Zionist military strikes over the past 24 hours alone.

The assassination of Al-Qaisi highlights the extreme dangers faced by humanitarian workers in Gaza, who have repeatedly been targeted while attempting to distribute life-saving aid to millions of displaced and starving civilians. The attack on a vehicle clearly engaged in aid distribution further underscores the Zionist regime’s ongoing disregard for international law and the safety of relief personnel.
