YouTube Pulls Down Iran’s First Hebrew-Language Documentary Hours After Release
The Tasnim-produced film “Missiles Over Bazan” marks a groundbreaking media move — and is swiftly taken down in what Tehran calls political censorship.
Iran, PUREWILAYAH.COM | November 12, 2025 - In a controversial act of censorship, YouTube has removed Iran’s first-ever Hebrew-language documentary, titled “Missiles Over Bazan,” just hours after its release by Tasnim News Agency.
Tasnim reported that the removal occurred shortly after publication, describing it as an act of support for the Zionist regime.
The documentary “Missiles Over Bazan” is the first film ever produced in Hebrew by an Iranian media outlet, aimed specifically at a Hebrew-speaking audience.
It presents a new and rarely-heard narrative of the war between Iran and the Zionist regime, while also marking a new step in Iranian productions addressing the issue of Israel.
Inside “Missiles Over Bazan”
The film examines a lesser-known confrontation between Iran and Israel in the field of oil and gas infrastructures — an event that, according to the documentary, changed the course of the war and altered the balance of power in the region.
Throughout the film, viewers are introduced to new dimensions of intelligence control and high-level decision-making, portraying Iran’s strategic wisdom and determination on the battlefield.
Speaking Directly to Israeli Audiences
Tasnim stated that the purpose of producing the documentary is to address Israeli public opinion from a position of strength and reality, revealing aspects of the conflict that have remained hidden from Hebrew-speaking audiences for years.
By combining professional interviews, intelligence information, and visual reenactments, the film seeks to present the battlefield truth in contrast to Western and Israeli media portrayals.
Available on Tasnim’s Hebrew Platform
Although the documentary was removed from YouTube, it remains available and viewable through Tasnim’s official Hebrew-language website. (PW)
