Yemen’s President Hails Iran’s Victory over Israel-U.S. as Historic Blow to Aggression
Al-Mashat Praises Tehran’s Strategic Deterrence, Calls Victory a Lesson for Zionist Entity and a Triumph for the Islamic World
Yemen, PUREWILAYAH.COM - Yemen's President Mahdi Al-Mashat extended heartfelt congratulations to the leadership, government, and people of the Islamic Republic of Iran for what he described as a "decisive victory" over Israeli and American aggression. He praised Iran’s ability to thwart hostile plots aimed at undermining its sovereignty.
In an official statement, President Al-Mashat hailed Iran’s triumph as a legitimate act of self-defense, emphasizing that it was a necessary response to safeguard the nation’s sovereignty, territorial integrity, and national security.
A Blow Like No Other: “Unprecedented Lesson” to Zionists
He noted that the Islamic Republic delivered a historic blow to the Zionist enemy, calling it an “unprecedented lesson” for the occupying entity since its creation in the region.
Al-Mashat reaffirmed Iran’s right to develop a peaceful nuclear program and maintain its legitimate defensive capabilities. He stressed that Iran’s response had preserved regional balance and halted attempts by the Zionist entity to impose military superiority over Arab and Islamic nations.
Regional Mediation and U.S. Retreat Highlight Iran’s Leverage
He also revealed that Iran emerged victorious following regional mediation, reportedly initiated by the United States itself—despite its role in sponsoring, planning, and directly participating in the aggression.
President Al-Mashat extended his congratulations not only to the Iranian people but also to the entire Islamic nation and all freedom-loving peoples of the world, describing the victory as a powerful deterrent to the forces of evil and global domination.
Iran’s Stance on Palestine at the Heart of the Conflict
He concluded by asserting that the aggression against Iran was rooted in its principled stance in support of the Palestinian cause and the broader struggles of oppressed peoples around the world. He described Iran’s resilience as a beacon of hope for all those who seek freedom and justice.
Israel was forced to unilaterally halt its aggression against Iran in the early hours of Tuesday, June 24, after U.S. President Donald Trump announced via social media that a ceasefire had been reached.
Reserve Major General Yom-Tov Samia told Israeli media that Iran had "taken control of the entire situation and determined when the ceasefire would begin." Commenting on the cost of halting the conflict for Israel, Samia remarked that Tel Aviv had "bought a few years of calm at a low price, but with wounds that will last for generations." (PW)
