Yemen’s Hypersonic ‘Palestine-2’ Strikes Ben Gurion Airport
Operation causes mass panic, suspension of airport activity amid calls for Arab and Islamic action
Yemen, PUREWILAYAH.COM — Yemen’s Armed Forces have announced a direct hypersonic missile strike on Israel’s Ben Gurion Airport, declaring the operation as part of their support for the Palestinian people and a response to what they describe as “genocide and starvation crimes” committed by the Zionist regime in Gaza.
Missile Force Targets al-Ludd Airport
Yahya Saree, spokesman for the Yemeni Armed Forces, confirmed late Wednesday that Yemen’s Missile Force carried out a “special military operation” targeting al-Ludd Airport — also known as Ben Gurion — in the occupied Yafa area. The strike was conducted using a “Palestine-2” hypersonic ballistic missile.
Saree said the missile successfully hit its target, triggering widespread panic among Israeli settlers who fled to shelters, and forcing a suspension of airport operations.
“This global acknowledgment of the severe suffering and blockade faced by Gaza imposes a great and historic responsibility upon the Arab and Islamic nations,” Saree stated. “The Ummah has a religious, humanitarian, and moral duty to end the famine, lift the siege, and halt the aggression.”
Official Statement from Yemeni Armed Forces
In an official communiqué, the Yemeni Armed Forces declared the operation “a victory for the cause of the oppressed Palestinian people and their esteemed resistance fighters.” The statement said the missile strike was a direct response to “genocide and starvation crimes” by the Zionist enemy against the people of Gaza.
“By the grace of Allah, the operation successfully achieved its objective, causing millions of Zionist usurpers to flee to shelters and leading to the suspension of airport activity,” the statement read.
The Armed Forces emphasized that the current conditions in Gaza — characterized by extreme hunger, a suffocating blockade, and relentless attacks — demand urgent action from the Arab and Islamic world.
“Yemen — the Yemen of the Ansar, the Yemen of Islam, the Yemen of faith — stands in an honorable position, fulfilling its duty towards the oppressed in Palestine. We will never abandon this stance, regardless of the challenges or consequences,” the statement added.
“With Gaza Until the Siege is Lifted”
The Yemeni military reaffirmed its commitment to stand with Gaza “until the siege is lifted and the aggression ends,” concluding with the declaration: “Victory to Yemen and to all the free people of the Ummah.”
The strike marks one of Yemen’s most high-profile uses of its “Palestine-2” hypersonic missile, underscoring the deepening military involvement of regional actors in the ongoing Gaza conflict. (PW)
