Yemen’s Foreign Ministry Condemns Ongoing Israeli Aggression Against Palestine and Syria
Sana’a denounces Israel’s continued massacres in Gaza, executions in the West Bank, and military incursions into Syria, reaffirming Yemen’s unwavering support for both nations
Yemen, PUREWILAYAH.COM — Yemen’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates issued a forceful statement on Thursday condemning the ongoing Israeli aggression targeting the Palestinian people in Gaza, the occupied West Bank, and the Syrian Arab Republic.
The Ministry denounced in the strongest terms Israel’s continued violations of the ceasefire agreement, its crimes of genocide against civilians in Gaza, and its intensifying attacks across the West Bank — most recently the execution of two Palestinians in the city of Jenin and the rise in violent settler assaults on Palestinian civilians and their property.
Sana’a: Israeli Incursion Into Syria Is a Gross Violation of Sovereignty
The Ministry also condemned the latest Israeli aggression on Syria, including the incursion of Israeli forces into the town of Beit Jinn in the Damascus countryside, accompanied by assaults on residents and their property. The attack resulted in casualties among civilians, including women and children.
Sana’a described the assault as a blatant violation of Syria’s sovereignty, independence, and territorial integrity, adding that Israel’s actions contradict the UN Charter as well as international norms, principles, and laws.
Praising the Heroic Resistance of Beit Jinn Residents
The statement saluted the people of Beit Jinn, who bravely confronted the invading Israeli forces, forcing them to retreat.
The Ministry noted that the Zionist entity continues its attempts to destroy Syria’s infrastructure, seize more land, and pursue its destructive agenda inside Syria.
Yemen Reaffirms Its Support for Palestine and Syria
The Foreign Ministry reiterated Yemen’s firm and principled position in supporting the Palestinian and Syrian peoples, standing with them as they confront Israel’s brutal and unrelenting aggression.
Sana’a emphasized that Yemen will continue to back both nations in their struggle for sovereignty, dignity, and justice. (PW)
