Yemeni Hypersonic Missile Hits Ben Gurion, Halts Flights, Sparks Panic
Yemeni Armed Forces Escalate Operations Against Israel in Support of Gaza; Spokespersons Warn of More Military Surprises Amid Regional Tensions
Iran, PUREWILAYAH.COM - The Rocket Unit of the Yemeni Armed Forces carried out a top-tier military operation targeting Lydd Airport, referred to by the Israeli occupation entity as Ben Gurion Airport, in the occupied city of Yafa, using a hypersonic ballistic missile, YAF spokesperson Brigadier General Yahya Saree announced on Friday.
The operation successfully achieved its objective, causing millions of Israeli settlers to flee to shelters and leading to the suspension of airport operations, Saree confirmed.
The spokesperson said the operation was in support of the oppressed Palestinian people and their Resistance fighters and in rejection of the genocide being committed by "Israel" there.
Saree: 'Remaining Silent Will Bring Shame and Disgrace Upon This Ummah'
"Remaining silent in the face of the daily massacres in Gaza will bring shame and disgrace upon this Ummah and will render it more vulnerable to its enemies than ever before, unless it rises to fulfill its religious, moral, and humanitarian responsibilities toward the oppressed Palestinian people," Saree emphasized.
He underscored that the YAF's operations will continue and will escalate until the Israeli aggression on Gaza is halted and the blockade imposed on the Palestinian enclave is lifted.
Earlier, the Israeli occupation military announced that its "air defenses dealt with a ballistic missile launched from Yemen," after air raid sirens sounded in Tel Aviv and across large areas of the occupied Palestinian territories.
Israeli Media Confirm Disruptions at Ben Gurion Airport
Israeli media reported that air traffic to and from Ben Gurion Airport was halted due to air raid sirens and the detection of a missile from Yemen. The Israeli military later announced that it had intercepted the missile. (PW)
