Yemeni Forces Strike Israeli Target and USS Truman in Retaliation to U.S. Massacres
The strikes forced the U.S. carrier to retreat, while the Israeli target in Askalan was also hit. The Yemeni government vows to continue operations until the aggression on Yemen and Gaza ends.
Yemen, PUREWILAYAH.COM - In response to the ongoing American massacres in Yemen, the spokesperson for the Yemeni Armed Forces (YAF), Brigadier General Yahya Saree, announced a large-scale military operation targeting the U.S. aircraft carrier USS Truman and its accompanying warships.
According to General Saree, the operation involved coordinated strikes by YAF’s naval, missile, and drone units. Utilizing a combination of ballistic and cruise missiles along with multiple UAVs, the attack forced the American carrier group to retreat from its previous position.
YAF Hits Strategic Target in Occupied Askalan
In a separate but parallel operation, the YAF conducted an aerial strike on a critical Israeli military site located in Askalan, within occupied Palestine. The strike was carried out using a Yafa-type drone, underscoring Yemen’s continued military commitment to the Palestinian cause.
Saree reiterated the Yemeni Armed Forces' resolve to maintain their military campaign against both American and Israeli forces until the aggression on Gaza and Yemen is fully halted.
US Attacks Leave Over 1,300 Civilians Dead or Wounded
Meanwhile, the Yemeni Ministry of Justice and Human Rights in Sanaa issued a strong condemnation of the U.S. military campaign, revealing that more than 1,300 civilians have been martyred or wounded as a result of American airstrikes. The statement also pointed to the extensive damage inflicted on Yemen's infrastructure.
The ministry’s statement, released Monday, did not address the latest massacre that took place at dawn in the city of Saada, northern Yemen. That strike, which targeted African migrants, resulted in 114 casualties, including both martyrs and wounded.
The ministry further denounced the ongoing atrocities perpetrated by American forces, which continue to target civilians and non-military infrastructure. Among the recent attacks was a deadly airstrike on a residential house in Thaqban, in the Bani al-Harith District of Sanaa. The bombing claimed the lives of multiple civilians, most of whom were women and children. (PW)
