Yemeni Defense Minister: We Are Ready to Strike Israel 24/7
Yemeni Defense Minister affirms readiness for intensified missile and drone strikes to enforce air and maritime blockade, as Sanaa pledges unwavering support for Palestinian resistance
Yemen, PUREWILAYAH.COM - Yemen's Minister of Defense and Military Industry, Major General Mohammed Nasser al-Atifi, confirmed on Tuesday that the Yemeni Armed Forces are fully prepared to escalate military operations against the Israeli entity, should the leadership issue directives to intensify the air and maritime blockade and inflict further losses on Israel across multiple levels.
In a detailed report presented to the Cabinet, Minister al-Atifi stated that the Yemeni forces possess strategic initiative and deterrence capabilities, and are able to launch missile and drone strikes continuously, 24 hours a day, under all conditions.
He emphasized that Yemen is capable of targeting highly sensitive and strategic locations deep within the occupied Palestinian territories.
Strategic Development Through Resistance
Al-Atifi noted that the ongoing confrontation with the Zionist enemy is significantly advancing Yemen’s defensive and offensive military capacities, with extended range, greater accuracy, and enhanced technological sophistication.
He reaffirmed the armed forces' readiness to maintain effective and impactful support for the people of Gaza and the Palestinian resistance factions fighting for dignity, honor, and the defense of the Islamic Ummah and its sacred sites.
Cabinet Commends Hypersonic and Drone Capabilities
The Yemeni Cabinet praised the painful and high-impact operations carried out by the Armed Forces, particularly by the missile force and drone units, targeting vital installations in the heart of the enemy's territory—most notably the ongoing disruption of operations at Lod (Ben Gurion) Airport.
The Cabinet lauded the rapid advancement of Yemen’s military capabilities, especially the development of modern hypersonic missiles and cutting-edge drone technologies, which it said have redefined the balance of power in modern warfare.
The report also highlighted Yemen's success in confronting U.S. aggression and breaking the dominance of Western naval fleets and aircraft carriers that has persisted since the end of World War II. "A new chapter in modern warfare has been written," the statement read, "with hypersonic missiles and drones as its headline."
Yemen Reiterates Commitment to Gaza Until Victory
The Cabinet reiterated that no amount of political pressure, intimidation, incentives, or mediation would alter Yemen's principled stance. Yemen—its leadership, government, and people—remains committed to its religious, moral, and humanitarian duty to support the oppressed people of Gaza until the Israeli aggression ends, the siege is lifted, and the occupation withdraws from the territory.
The statement further warned that the Zionist enemy’s insistence on continuing its brutal assault on Gaza will be met with escalating Yemeni retaliation, resulting in mounting military, economic, and political losses for Israel.
It also emphasized that these actions will exacerbate internal crises within the Israeli entity and deepen the psychological defeat among its occupying settlers.
The Cabinet saluted the heroic resistance fighters in Gaza, affirming that they are not only defending Gaza but the dignity of the entire Ummah. Together with the wider Axis of Resistance, they are actively thwarting Zionist plots aimed at the entire region.
The Cabinet concluded by renewing its strongest condemnation of the daily massacres and horrific war crimes committed by the Israeli regime, particularly those targeting children, women, and the elderly in Gaza, describing them as atrocities that pierce the conscience of humanity. (PW)
