SANA’A – In a massive display of military capability and a stern warning to the Saudi regime, the Yemeni Armed Forces (YAF) have executed a series of top-tier preemptive and retaliatory operations deep inside Saudi Arabia, striking sensitive sites in Riyadh, Aramco facilities in Yanbu, and decimating military concentrations in Jizan.
Military spokesperson Brigadier General Yahya Saree announced that the operations were carried out using a combination of ballistic missiles, cruise missiles, and advanced drones, successfully achieving all their intended objectives.
The first major operation targeted a highly sensitive military site in the Saudi capital of Riyadh, while a second strike hit vital Saudi Aramco infrastructure in the Red Sea port city of Yanbu.
Simultaneously, the YAF launched a large-scale preemptive strike against Saudi military build-ups in the Jizan region. Monitoring a massive mobilisation of Saudi troops and the launch of over 200 missiles from Jizan into Yemeni border areas, Yemeni forces targeted command and control centres, operations rooms, weapons depots, and missile launch platforms at the al-Daghagirir military camp, the Sixth Emergency Division, and the al-Tuwal area. According to General Saree, the precise strikes resulted in hundreds of deaths and injuries among Saudi military personnel, officers, and Sudanese mercenaries.
These sweeping operations come as a direct response to the relentless escalation of Saudi aggression against Yemen. Recent days have seen intense Saudi airstrikes and artillery shelling targeting northern and western Yemen, including civilian areas in Saada, the Maran District, and Kamaran Island in al-Hodeidah, resulting in civilian casualties.
In a stern message to Riyadh, the Sana’a Foreign Ministry warned that the continued criminal actions against the Yemeni people will carry severe consequences. “The coming period will be more painful for the Saudi regime as a result of its continued daily criminal actions,” the Ministry stated.
General Saree reinforced this stance, declaring that the YAF is strictly enforcing an “escalation for escalation” and “siege for siege” equation. He vowed that Yemeni forces will pursue sources of threat with “full force and resolve” and that Saudi military concentrations will remain prime targets until the aggression ceases and the unjust, decade-long blockade on Yemen is completely lifted.
The relentless Yemeni strikes, combined with a total naval blockade declared in July on all Saudi shipping in the Red Sea, have dealt a severe blow to the Kingdom’s energy sector and economic lifelines.
With the Strait of Hormuz currently closed, Riyadh has heavily relied on its East-West Pipeline to reroute approximately 4 million barrels per day—roughly 4 percent of the global supply—to the port of Yanbu. However, due to the continuous YAF attacks and the effective Red Sea blockade, Saudi Aramco has been forced to stall tanker exports. Industry sources report that Aramco has informed European refiners that it must first build up a “critical mass” of crude at Yanbu before any deliveries can safely resume, leaving Saudi energy exports paralysed.
As the YAF maintains its iron grip on the Red Sea and its strategic reach deep into Saudi territory, the message to Riyadh is unequivocal: the era of unchecked aggression and sieges against Yemen is over, and any further hostile movements will be met with devastating consequences.
