Yemen Carries Out Drone Strike on 5 Israeli Targets, Including Lod and Ramon Airports

Yemen, PUREWILAYAH.COM - The Yemeni Armed Forces announced on Monday that they carried out a precision drone strike targeting five strategic locations in Israeli-occupied Palestine, including Lod Airport, Ramon Airport, Umm al-Rashrash Port (Eilat), and other military and critical infrastructure sites.
In an official statement, the military confirmed the use of five unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in the operation, stating that “all targets were successfully hit by the grace of Allah.” The targeted sites included a military installation in the Jaffa area and a vital facility in Ashdod.
“This operation comes in support of the oppressed Palestinian people and their valiant resistance fighters,” the statement said, describing the strike as a direct response to ongoing Israeli war crimes in Gaza and Israel’s recent attack on the port of Hudaydah in Yemen.
The Armed Forces emphasized that “the great nation of Yemen — a nation of those who place their trust in God — has faced relentless aggression in recent months,” yet has stood firm and repelled these attacks with resilience and faith.
The statement went on to stress Yemen’s readiness to counter any hostile movements aimed at hindering its religious, moral, and humanitarian duty toward Palestine. It reiterated the country's unwavering commitment to supporting the Palestinian cause and warned that its military operations will persist:
“Our operations will not stop until the aggression on Gaza ends and the blockade is fully lifted.”
The statement concluded with a strong declaration of national sovereignty and solidarity with all oppressed peoples:
“Long live Yemen — free, dignified, and independent. Victory to Yemen and to all the free people of the Ummah.”
This latest escalation marks a significant move in Yemen’s active military engagement in support of Gaza and could further widen the scope of regional confrontations amid ongoing Israeli military operations. (PW)
