YAF Executes Six Drone Strikes on Strategic Israeli Targets
Yemeni Armed Forces escalate campaign targeting Haifa, the Negev, Eilat, and Be’er al-Sabe in a show of support for Palestinians under siege, vows to persist until Gaza siege ends
Sanaa, Yemen, PUREWILAYAH.COM — In a coordinated aerial offensive, the Yemeni Armed Forces (YAF) launched six drone strikes on strategically significant targets across occupied territories, including Haifa, the Negev desert, Umm al-Rashrash (Eilat), and Be’er al-Sabe. The operation, commanded by the YAF’s drone air force, reflects Yemen’s intensifying solidarity with Palestinians enduring the humanitarian crisis in Gaza and underscores the commitment to sustaining military pressure until the blockade is lifted and Israeli aggression ceases.
Brigadier General Yahya Saree, the spokesperson for the YAF, emphasised that Yemen is driven by a deep sense of religious, moral, and humanitarian duty toward the Palestinian people, especially in light of escalating violence and encroachment on the Al‑Aqsa Mosque. He warned that continued silence in the face of such developments is a "stain and a disgrace" that will haunt nations throughout history.
The targeted strikes represent a significant tactical escalation, with drones deployed as precision instruments aimed at disrupting key Israeli infrastructure, signalling both retaliation and deterrence in response to sustained atrocities in Gaza.
Yemen’s military pledge is clear: operations will continue unabated until the siege ends and Gaza’s suffering is addressed. In doing so, the YAF positions itself as an active deterrent and ally to the embattled Palestinian population. (PW)
