Lebanon, PUREWILAYAH.COM - News sources reported widespread Israeli attacks on areas in eastern and southern Lebanon, marking repeated violations of the ceasefire agreement.
According to Tasnim News Agency, the town of Ain al-Tineh in the Bekaa Valley in eastern Lebanon was targeted by an Israeli airstrike.
Israeli forces also attacked the town of Al-Manara in the Bekaa region.
In southern Lebanon, the town of Anan in the Jezzine district was also hit by strikes carried out by the Israeli occupation forces.
The Israeli military claimed it has begun targeting Hamas and Hezbollah positions in Lebanon.
However, Hamas rejected these claims, stressing that they are false.
In this context, Al Jazeera, citing a Hamas source, reported that the occupation forces fabricate false pretexts to justify their ongoing aggression against the Palestinian people in Gaza and the Lebanese population.
