West Bank Resistance Prepare for a Decisive Confrontation with Israel
On the 38th anniversary of the Islamic Jihad movement, the Resistance in the West Bank declares a new phase and unveils new weapons against the Israeli occupation
Palestine, PUREWILAYAH.COM — On the 38th anniversary of the foundation of the Islamic Jihad movement in Palestine, the commander of the Al-Quds Brigades, the movement’s military wing, in the West Bank, announced that the Resistance has entered a new and decisive stage in its struggle against the Israeli occupation.
In a statement marking the anniversary, the commander affirmed that the Resistance has introduced new weapons into active service, signaling a significant escalation in operational preparedness throughout the West Bank.
“The resistance is doing well, and our fighters are ready to make the enemy pay for its crimes across Palestine,”
the commander declared, emphasizing the readiness, morale, and expanding capabilities of Resistance fighters.
He further warned that the coming days would reveal the extent of the Resistance’s preparations, asserting that both the enemy and the world will witness that the West Bank cannot be subdued.
Escalating Israeli Aggression in the West Bank
The West Bank has witnessed an intensification of Israeli military aggression, including daily raids, mass arrests, home demolitions, and property seizures.
Human rights observers warn that the occupation’s escalations, paired with political calls to annex the territory, are rapidly deteriorating the security and humanitarian situation across the region.
New Land Seizures and Restrictions
In a continuation of Israel’s land-grab policy, occupation authorities have approved a new colonial plan to seize approximately 35 dunams of land from the village of Kafr Qaddum, east of Qalqilya.
According to the Al-Baydar Human Rights Organization, the plan aims to take control of land north of the village for the establishment of 58 new settlement units.
Elsewhere, Israeli forces detained several Palestinian farmers in the town of Rantis, west of Ramallah, as they attempted to reach their olive groves. The farmers were informed that they would now require a special “entry authorization” to access their own lands.
Meanwhile, the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) closed the iron gate at the entrance of Attara village, north of Ramallah, and kept the entrances to Al-Araqa village, west of Jenin, sealed for the second consecutive day.
As a result, the Jenin Directorate of Education announced the postponement of the school week in Al-Araqa’s government schools until Tuesday, citing the ongoing blockade.
Resilience Amid Occupation
Despite the occupation’s tightening grip and attempts to isolate communities across the West Bank, the Palestinian Resistance continues to demonstrate unity, adaptability, and determination.
The Al-Quds Brigades commander’s message underscores that the West Bank remains a central front in the broader struggle against occupation — a front that, despite immense suffering, refuses to yield. (PW)
