According to a report released by the Palestine Information Center (Ma'ti), 22 resistance actions were recorded over the past week. These actions varied between gunfire operations, explosive device detonations, confrontations, and stone-throwing incidents at 17 different locations across the West Bank and occupied Jerusalem.
Confrontations in Jerusalem and Surrounding Areas
In Jerusalem, areas such as Hizma and Beit Anan witnessed confrontations with Israeli forces, including stone-throwing incidents. The resistance in these areas demonstrated continued defiance against the occupation.
Renewed Clashes in Jenin and Qalqilya
In Jenin, clashes reignited in the areas of Faqoua, Jenin city, and Jenin refugee camp. Similarly, Qalqilya saw heightened tension, particularly in the village of Kafr Qaddum, where similar confrontations with Israeli forces erupted.
Nablus: Violent Clashes Erupt Across Multiple Locations
In Nablus, clashes erupted in the areas of Beita, Salem, Burin, and the popular housing neighborhoods. These confrontations resulted in violent clashes with Israeli soldiers, demonstrating the resilience and strength of the local Palestinian population.
Bethlehem and Jericho: Resistance Against Settler Attacks
In Bethlehem, confrontations took place in Dheisheh refugee camp with Israeli forces. Additionally, Palestinian residents of Hosan village managed to repel settler attacks by using Molotov cocktails. In Jericho, locals fought back against settler aggression in the Auja area, throwing stones at vehicles heading toward settlements, damaging several cars in the process.
Hebron: Continued Resistance in Refugee Camps and Villages
Hebron also witnessed violent confrontations in the refugee camps of al-Fawwar and al-Aroub, as well as in the town of Idna. Young Palestinians in these areas hurled stones at Israeli forces, demonstrating ongoing resistance to the occupation.
Ongoing Israeli Aggression and Settler Attacks
The Israeli occupation forces continue their daily incursions into most towns and villages in the West Bank.
