USA - A growing wave of opposition to the Zionist regime’s military campaigns is emerging within the United States, with a majority of voters in key electoral battlegrounds now demanding an end to American weapons shipments to Israel.
According to a recent survey conducted by YouGov for the IMEU Policy Project, American voters are increasingly rejecting the use of their tax dollars to fund the occupation. The poll, which surveyed 3,200 likely voters between September 25 and October 14, focused on six states crucial to determining the balance of power in the US Senate: Georgia, Iowa, Maine, North Carolina, Ohio, and Texas.
The results indicate a significant shift in public sentiment. When asked if they supported Senate measures to block the transfer of bombs to the Zionist regime, a clear majority of likely voters approved across all six states. The state of Maine recorded the highest level of opposition to arming Israel, with 65 percent in favour of blocking the weapons transfers. Overall opposition to the bombs remained remarkably low, ranging from just 22 to 31 percent across the surveyed states.
Furthermore, voters expressed strong disapproval of the massive financial subsidies provided to Tel Aviv. When questioned on whether they supported cutting the $3.3 billion in taxpayer-funded weapons given to the Zionist entity annually, a majority once again voiced their support. Iowa led this demographic, with 59 percent of likely voters in favour of severing the funds.
The poll also highlighted widespread scepticism regarding Washington’s aggressive foreign policy in the Middle East. A majority of respondents across the six states stated that a potential, illegal war on Iran would benefit Israel far more than it would benefit the United States.
Margaret DeReus, Executive Director of the IMEU Policy Project, noted that ending weapons transfers to Israel has become a near-consensus position among Democratic voters, but the shift is now rapidly crossing partisan lines.
“Not only has ending weapons transfers to Israel become the near-consensus view of Democratic voters, but we’re now seeing that voters across the spectrum, including most independents and a substantial number of Republicans, are tired of seeing their government use our tax dollars to supply Israel with bombs when millions struggle to afford the basics here at home,” DeReus stated.
DeReus emphasised that the findings serve as “strong evidence” that unconditional support for the Zionist regime is no longer politically safe. With public fatigue growing over endless conflicts in the Middle East, continued weapons transfers are expected to become a major liability for candidates in the upcoming midterm elections and the 2028 presidential race.
