The United States is escalating its direct complicity in the ongoing genocide, with the Trump administration preparing a staggering $2.8 billion arms package for the Israeli regime. Described as the largest transfer of conventional explosives in modern American history, the deal equips Tel Aviv with 40,000 tons of devastating 2,000-pound bombs to sustain its massacres in Gaza and Lebanon.
According to reports, the massive transfer includes 20,000 MK-84 bombs, 20,000 BLU-117s, and 20,000 I-2000 penetrator warheads. While officially packaged as a “sale,” the transaction is heavily subsidised by the American public through the US Foreign Military Financing (FMF) program, effectively serving as a multi-billion-dollar gift to the Zionist war machine.
Unprecedented Scale of Destruction
The sheer scale of the munitions has drawn shock even from within the American political establishment. Conservative commentator Tucker Carlson pointed out that the 40,000-ton transfer has no historical precedent, dwarfing the most intensive bombing campaigns of World War II. For context, the devastating US raids on Berlin in March 1945 and Tokyo utilised roughly 3,000 and 1,600 tons of explosives, respectively.
“This appears to be the largest transfer of conventional explosive ordnance from the United States in modern history,” Carlson noted, adding that the unprecedented scale suggests the Zionist regime is effectively waging “World War Two” without any legitimate military justification.
The MK-84 bombs are notorious for their catastrophic destructive power in urban environments. Capable of collapsing entire buildings and creating massive craters, these munitions have already been responsible for the slaughter of countless Palestinian civilians and the wholesale destruction of Gaza’s civilian infrastructure.
Taxpayer-Funded War Crimes
Despite the catastrophic humanitarian toll in Gaza and the ongoing Israeli aggression in Lebanon, the Trump administration is aggressively pressing Congress to rubber-stamp the transfer.
Even US lawmakers have voiced concerns over the optics of the transfer. Senator Chris Van Hollen announced his intention to oppose the package, condemning the White House for sending taxpayer-funded bombs to a regime actively waging war on civilian populations. However, historical precedent shows that congressional opposition rarely halts the flow of American weapons to Tel Aviv.
For the Axis of Resistance and the Palestinian people, this unprecedented arms transfer only reinforces the reality that Washington remains the primary architect and enabler of Zionist terror. As the Zionist regime prepares to unleash another 40,000 tons of American-made devastation, the US continues to bankroll and shield the ongoing campaign of ethnic cleansing and genocide.
