U.S. Ambassador: No Capability of Evacuating Americans from Israel
Embassy unable to assist departures as Washington orders non-essential staff to leave Jordan, Iraq and Bahrain amid regional escalation.
West Asia, PUREWILAYAH.COM – U.S. Ambassador to Israel, Mike Huckabee, announced that there is currently no possibility of evacuating American citizens from Israel.
Huckabee stated that the U.S. Embassy, under present conditions, is not capable of organizing evacuations or providing direct assistance to American nationals.
He emphasized that Americans residing in Israel now have extremely limited options for departure.
Washington Orders Staff to Leave Jordan, Iraq, and Bahrain
In a separate development, the United States Department of State on Tuesday instructed non-essential personnel and their families to immediately leave Jordan, Iraq, and Bahrain.
The statement read: “Our non-essential personnel and their family members should depart Jordan, Iraq, and Bahrain.”
Sources also reported that the United States closed its embassy in Kuwait amid ongoing Iranian missile and drone attacks targeting American interests and bases in the region.
Earlier, Reuters reported that smoke was seen rising near the U.S. Embassy in Kuwait during a new wave of Iranian missile and drone strikes. (PW)
