Two Killed, Several Injured in Israeli Drone Strikes on Vehicles in South Lebanon
Israeli occupation continues daily violations of the ceasefire, with over 5,000 documented attacks on Lebanese territory since November 2024
Lebanon, PUREWILAYAH.COM — Two people were killed and several others injured on Saturday after Israeli occupation forces (IOF) carried out a new series of drone strikes in southern Lebanon, marking yet another violation of the ceasefire agreement declared in November 2024.
According to Al Mayadeen’s correspondent in southern Lebanon, an Israeli drone targeted a vehicle between the Jneim area, east of Shebaa, and Rashaya al-Wadi, killing both passengers instantly. The information was confirmed by the Lebanese Health Ministry.
Just an hour earlier, another Israeli drone attack struck a vehicle near Salah Ghandour Hospital in the town of Bint Jbeil, southern Lebanon, firing two missiles that injured seven civilians, the ministry added.
Civilian Areas Repeatedly Targeted
Bint Jbeil has been a repeated target of Israeli aggression. In late September, the town witnessed a massacre when Israeli drones attacked civilian vehicles, killing four members of the Charara family, including three children and their father Chadi Charara. The mother and eldest daughter remain in intensive care, while another civilian in a separate vehicle was also killed.
In a continuation of these attacks, an Israeli quadcopter dropped a grenade on the town of Mays al-Jabal, while at dawn today, Israeli aircraft targeted an excavator in the Kilo 9 area of Blida, in the Marj’youn district.

Non-Stop Violations Despite Ceasefire
On Friday, the Israeli occupation carried out several attacks on Jabal al-Salhani, the town of Shihin in the Tyre district, the Khiam plain, and al-Hamamis hill.
These assaults followed a wave of air raids on Thursday that struck multiple areas in southern Lebanon, killing one citizen and injuring several others, while also causing significant damage to civilian buildings.
Despite the November 2024 ceasefire, Israel has continued almost daily violations, carrying out airstrikes, shelling, and incursions across border towns adjacent to occupied Palestine.
Over 5,000 Documented Violations Since November 2024
Recent data covering the period November 27, 2024 – November 3, 2025, shows a staggering 5,163 Israeli violations of Lebanese sovereignty — by air, land, and sea — all conducted under complete impunity.
The violations are categorized as follows:
Aerial: 2,850 attacks
Ground: 2,150 attacks
Maritime: 163 attacks
These assaults have resulted in the martyrdom of 309 Lebanese citizens and the injury of 598 others, alongside widespread damage to homes, infrastructure, and private businesses.
Escalation Undermines Regional Stability
Observers note that Israel’s continued escalation against Lebanon reflects a systematic disregard for international law and ceasefire agreements, as well as an effort to maintain pressure on the Resistance Front in the region.
By repeatedly targeting residential zones, economic facilities, and civilian infrastructure, Israel not only deepens Lebanon’s humanitarian crisis but also undermines every effort to restore stability along the southern border.
The persistent aggression, analysts warn, shows that Israel’s strategy has shifted from military deterrence to collective punishment — a violation of all international norms. (PW)
