Two Israeli Soldiers Injured in Resistance Operation in Tubas
The Palestinian fighters strike occupation forces with explosive device as Israeli raids intensify across the occupied West Bank
Palestine, PUREWILAYAH.COM – Two Israeli occupation soldiers were injured on Saturday after Palestinian resistance fighters detonated an explosive device targeting invading forces during a military raid in the city of Tubas, in the northern occupied West Bank.
Israeli media, citing medical sources, confirmed the injuries and described the condition of the soldiers as “light,” though the occupation’s rapid deployment of reinforcements — including a military helicopter to the Tayasir checkpoint near the city — reflected a more serious operational disruption.
Following the blast, Israeli forces stormed the nearby town of ‘Aqaba, north of Tubas, deploying infantry units and conducting widespread searches.
The incursion later expanded back into the urban areas of Tubas, where clashes erupted between resistance youth and Israeli troops.
This operation comes amid a pattern of increasingly bold West Bank resistance actions targeting Israeli forces, signaling evolving battlefield tactics and continued defiance despite brutal Israeli repression.
Israeli Raids Intensify Under Occupation Escalation
Earlier, the Israeli military admitted to carrying out large-scale raids across dozens of Palestinian towns and villages over the weekend.
The army claimed to have conducted “warning conversations” with released prisoners and their families, attempting to intimidate them and prevent any form of public celebration following their liberation as part of the ongoing prisoner exchange agreement with Hamas.
The occupation army also acknowledged killing several Palestinians, arresting others, and confiscating locally produced explosive devices and weapons during raids — a narrative frequently used to justify its systematic assaults.
West Bank Under Siege Since Gaza Genocide
Since the launch of Israel’s genocidal war on Gaza on October 7, 2023, the West Bank has been subjected to a parallel campaign of violence, resulting in:
Over 1,054 Palestinians killed
Nearly 10,000 injured
More than 20,000 arrests, including 1,600 children
These figures expose a coordinated campaign of terror designed to crush resistance across all Palestinian fronts, with full American backing and international silence. (PW)
