USA — Prominent American conservative commentator Tucker Carlson has issued a dire warning that the United States could be mere days away from launching a nuclear strike on the Islamic Republic of Iran, driven by the desperate lobbying of Zionist Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
In a recent statement, Carlson revealed that Israeli intelligence is claiming the Iranian government has allegedly restarted its nuclear enrichment program at the Pickaxe Mountain facility in central Iran. According to the US commentator, the Zionist regime is pushing the Trump administration to destroy the site, admitting that the US arsenal lacks any conventional weapon capable of penetrating 300 feet of solid granite to reach the fortified tunnels.
“The only military option is a nuclear strike,” Carlson stated, adding that Netanyahu is personally calling US President Donald Trump every day to demand the attack. The Zionist leader has reportedly been aggressively lobbying senior US officials, including War Secretary Pete Hegseth and CENTCOM commander Brad Cooper, to resume major combat operations against the Islamic Republic.
A Desperate Gamble for Political Survival
Carlson linked the Zionist regime’s dangerous escalation to Netanyahu’s crumbling political survival. Following recent election results in the occupied territories, Netanyahu is unable to form a government without direct US intervention to broker a coalition deal.
“Otherwise, he is out as prime minister and on his way to ignominy, investigations, and possibly jail,” Carlson wrote. “Netanyahu must stay close to Trump. He needs this war.”
Despite the immense pressure, Carlson noted that President Trump is currently “hesitating,” with Vice President JD Vance and envoy Steve Witkoff advocating for a diplomatic agreement with Tehran. A decision on the use of nuclear weapons is expected by November 7.
Threat of Global Catastrophe and Regional Poisoning
The aggressive posturing by the US and the Zionist regime has deeply alarmed neighbouring Gulf states. Carlson pointed out that the United Arab Emirates has notably refused to join Netanyahu’s lobbying effort, terrified by the prospect of further escalation.
A nuclear ground explosion at Pickaxe Mountain would have catastrophic humanitarian and environmental consequences. Carlson warned that radioactive fallout would heavily contaminate the Persian Gulf, poisoning the vital water supply for over 100 million people in the region.
Furthermore, breaking the nuclear taboo would set a terrifying global precedent, encouraging other nuclear-armed states to utilise their arsenals. “After the first nuclear strike, World War Three is inevitable,” Carlson warned. “That war would be short and final.”
Empty Threats and International Condemnation
The nuclear sabre-rattling comes as Trump falsely claimed over the weekend that Washington had already destroyed much of Iran’s military and nuclear capabilities. In a blatant display of aggression, Trump threatened that the US still had “one or two targets” left, specifically naming Pickaxe Mountain, boasting that Washington could destroy it “in 10 minutes.”
These repeated, contradictory claims by the Trump administration regarding the destruction of Iran’s infrastructure only expose the hollowness of their military threats against the resilient Islamic Republic. Iran has consistently affirmed that its nuclear program is entirely peaceful and strictly for civilian energy purposes, operating under the safeguards of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).
The reckless threats to bomb safeguarded nuclear facilities have drawn widespread international condemnation. Last week, a coalition of 12 countries—including Iran, China, Russia, Pakistan, and Cuba—issued a joint statement at the UN General Assembly’s First Committee, firmly declaring that nuclear facilities must never be subjected to attack.
The coalition stressed that any assault or threat against IAEA-safeguarded sites is a blatant violation of the UN Charter, international law, and the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (NPT), warning that such normalisation of aggression profoundly undermines global security and non-proliferation efforts.
As the November 7 deadline approaches, the Axis of Resistance remains vigilant against the desperate and criminal machinations of the US-Zionist alliance, fully prepared to deliver a devastating response to any act of aggression against Iranian soil.
