Trump’s Economic Policies Push the U.S. Toward Collapse
According to reports, the U.S. economy has seen a marked decline since Donald Trump announced tariff hikes, targeting trade rivals like China.
United States, PUREWILAYAH.COM - More than 2 million Americans are unemployed, 43 million live below the poverty line, 116,000 people die annually from drug overdoses, and nearly 27 million citizens lack health insurance, according to recent figures highlighting the worsening internal crisis in the United States.
According to Al-Masirah Net, the U.S. economy has seen a marked decline since Donald Trump announced tariff hikes, targeting trade rivals like China.
While Trump’s media platforms boast about so-called “historic economic achievements,” actual indicators show negative consequences, including a growing trade deficit.
Despite Trump’s repeated claims that tariffs would reduce the trade deficit and bring American manufacturing back home, the data shows otherwise: the U.S. economy has deteriorated sharply under these policies.
Economic experts revealed that the U.S. trade deficit with China increased from $107 billion in 2024 to $289 billion in 2025. The total trade deficit with the world rose to $1.3 trillion.
Strategic Analyst: Trump’s Mismanagement Hurt Israel Too
Mohammad Hazima, a strategic affairs researcher, confirmed to Al-Masirah TV that the U.S. economy has been in noticeable decline since Trump’s presidency began.
He explained that Trump’s economic mismanagement led to the exposure of the U.S. financial system, reducing America’s ability to support the Israeli entity.
Hazima described Trump as:
“The worst among his peers in handling economic affairs,”
“His erratic economic actions prove he is unqualified to manage the state.”
He characterized Trump’s economic decisions as:
“Reckless and unproductive, with disastrous consequences for the American economy.”
Collapse of the Dollar and Record Deficits
Hazima added:
“The U.S. dollar has begun to lose its purchasing power due to the current economic disruptions.”
He confirmed that American media reports have repeatedly covered the record-breaking trade deficit.
He also pointed out that one U.S. newspaper reported the national debt has reached nearly $37 trillion, calling it a reflection of Trump’s poor leadership in economic governance.
Trump’s “Tribute Policy” and Gulf Relations
Hazima asserted:
“Trump is leading the U.S. economy toward collapse. He has no studied economic plans, relying instead on a policy of tribute and extortion, especially in dealings with the Gulf states.”
Debt Crisis and Its Domino Effect
The sharp rise in U.S. public debt has triggered a series of economic repercussions inside the country. Trump's policies caused major harm to domestic industries and investment companies.
But the damage wasn’t limited to corporations alone—consumers have also suffered, facing:
Rising commodity prices
Loss of approximately 200,000 jobs
According to the Tax Foundation, Trump’s tariff policies have severely weakened U.S. exports.
Media Manipulation Instead of Real Reform
Instead of seeking real solutions to America’s soaring debt, Trump has resorted to media manipulation, spreading misinformation across various outlets.
Salim Al-Ja’dabi, an economic affairs expert, said that Trump’s election campaign relied heavily on economic promises—including improving the economy and easing the debt burden—which ultimately propelled him to the presidency.
In a statement to Al-Masirah, Ja’dabi explained:
“Trump’s unplanned economic strategy has plunged over 43 million Americans below the poverty line.”
True Scale of Unemployment and Social Suffering
Ja’dabi added:
“Nearly 7 million unemployed Americans have officially applied for government aid due to lack of job opportunities.”
However, real unemployment figures may be closer to 12 million, based on internal data.
He also highlighted:
27 million Americans without health insurance
116,000 annual deaths due to drug overdoses
These figures reflect the depth of America’s internal crisis, both economically and socially.
Americans Burdened Despite Basic Rights
Although health and livelihood are supposed to be guaranteed rights, the U.S. government forces its citizens to pay excessive taxes for basic services. They must also pay high premiums for health insurance.
Based on the evidence and outcomes, the report concludes:
“It is clear that the American people are ruled by the economy, not the other way around.” (PW)
