Reports Link the Visit to Potential Normalization with Israel
A Hebrew-language media outlet revealed that during the visit of Abu Mohammad al-Jolani, the head of Syria’s political structure, there is a possibility that Syria may join the Abraham Accords.
According to the same report, one of the key dimensions of the ongoing discussions includes a security understanding with Israel, which could lead to Syria’s inclusion in the Abraham Accords.
The Israeli newspaper Haaretz suggested that this agreement, which is still in the final stages of negotiation, aims to promote stability in Syria and integrate it into a wider regional security framework.
