Trump Lashes Out at Critics of Iran Deal
The U.S. president lashed out at Republicans and Democrats opposing negotiations with Tehran as reports reveal Washington is desperately seeking a face-saving agreement after failing to break Iran
United States, PUREWILAYAH.COM — U.S. President Donald Trump launched an angry attack against American critics of a possible agreement with Iran, as growing reports from Western media indicate Washington is urgently seeking a deal with Tehran to escape an increasingly costly strategic deadlock.
In a lengthy post published on Truth Social, Trump mocked both Democrats and Republican critics questioning the direction of negotiations with Iran, calling them “losers” and accusing them of knowing nothing about the ongoing talks.
“I laugh at all of the Dumocrats, RINOS, and Fools who know nothing about the potential deal I am making with Iran,” Trump wrote.
“These people should go home and rest, they do nothing but create division and loss. In other words, they are losers!” he added.
Trump attempted to reassure hardline Zionist and anti-Iran circles in Washington by claiming any future agreement with Tehran would differ from the 2015 nuclear deal signed under Barack Obama.
“The deal with Iran will either be a great and meaningful one, or there will be no deal,” Trump declared.
“It will be the exact opposite of the JCPOA disaster negotiated by the failed Obama Administration.”
Washington Seeking Exit From Failed Escalation
Trump’s outburst came as multiple American media outlets acknowledged that Washington is now seeking an urgent diplomatic settlement with Iran after military escalation failed to force Tehran into surrender.
According to reports cited by Axios, CBS News, Fox News, and the Washington Post, negotiations revolve around a temporary memorandum of understanding that could last 60 days and potentially be extended.
The proposed framework reportedly includes reopening the Strait of Hormuz, easing restrictions on Iranian oil exports, lifting parts of the blockade on Iranian ports, and gradual sanctions relief.
In return, Iran would commit not to pursue nuclear weapons while discussions over uranium enrichment and enriched uranium stockpiles continue at a later stage.
However, Iranian sources emphasized that Tehran has not agreed to key American demands regarding its nuclear program and that the focus of talks remains ending the war and reducing tensions.
Western Media Admit Failure Against Iran
A Washington Post analysis acknowledged that Trump is searching for a way out of a conflict that failed to deliver victory for the United States.
The report stated that Washington’s current approach is far removed from Trump’s earlier rhetoric demanding Iran’s “unconditional surrender” at the beginning of the war.
The newspaper further admitted that U.S. military planners understand that despite America’s massive bombing capabilities, Washington lacks any real option capable of changing Iran’s strategic calculations.
Iranian officials and analysts have repeatedly stressed that the Islamic Republic’s control over the Strait of Hormuz remains one of the country’s most powerful strategic tools.
Senior adviser to Ayatullah Sayyed Mujtaba Khamenei, Mohammad Mokhber, recently described the Strait of Hormuz as “a capability equivalent to an atomic bomb.”
Meanwhile, reports also indicated that the proposed agreement may include ending the war between the Zionist regime and Hizbullah in Lebanon — a provision that reportedly triggered concern from Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu during recent discussions with Trump.
A growing number of voices in Washington and Western media now acknowledge that sanctions, pressure, and military escalation have failed to force Iran into submission. (PW)
