Trump Claims Venezuela Will Hand Over 30–50 Million Barrels of Oil
US president openly boasts of seizing Venezuelan oil revenues under his direct control, exposing the real motive behind Washington’s aggression
United States | PUREWILAYAH.COM — US President Donald Trump has claimed that Venezuelan authorities are set to hand over between 30 and 50 million barrels of high-quality oil to the United States, in a statement that lays bare Washington’s oil-driven agenda against the Latin American nation.
According to international reports, Trump asserted that the oil would be sold at market prices, with the proceeds placed under his personal control as president of the United States.
In a post on his Truth Social account, Trump wrote:
"This Oil will be sold at its Market Price, and that money will be controlled by me, as President of the United States of America, to ensure it is used to benefit the people of Venezuela and the United States!"
Trump also stated that storage vessels would transport Venezuelan oil directly to offloading docks in the United States, bypassing any independent Venezuelan oversight.
Oil Seizure Confirms Imperial Motive
Trump’s remarks have reinforced long-standing accusations that Washington’s hostility toward Venezuela is driven by crude oil greed, not concerns over narcotics or governance.
Prior to the military assault and escalation against Caracas, Trump had repeatedly cited alleged drug trafficking as a justification for targeting Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro. Maduro, however, has consistently stated that the true objective of US aggression is control over Venezuela’s vast oil reserves and national wealth.
Trump’s public celebration of dominating Venezuelan oil resources now openly confirms that claim.
Spain’s Prime Minister Condemns US Operation as Oil-Driven Terrorism
Reacting to recent developments in Caracas, Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez issued a sharp condemnation of Washington’s actions, describing the US kidnapping of President Maduro and his wife as a dangerous terrorist operation that threatens global stability.
Sánchez stressed that the operation was motivated by greed for oil and natural resources, not international law or humanitarian concern.
His remarks come as international criticism mounts over the United States’ military assault, economic coercion, and open attempts to plunder Venezuela’s sovereign resources. (PW)
