Three Martyred in Israeli Attacks on Bekaa and South Lebanon
Israeli airstrikes, drone attacks, and ground incursions continue to violate Lebanese sovereignty and the ceasefire agreement
Lebanon, PUREWILAYAH.COM - Israeli occupation forces continued their aggression against Lebanon over the past 24 hours, killing three civilians in air and drone attacks across the Bekaa and southern Lebanon, while carrying out a cross-border incursion and detonating homes in the border town of Kfarkela, in a blatant violation of Lebanese sovereignty and the ceasefire agreement.
Deadly Drone and Airstrikes Across Lebanon
According to field reports from southern Lebanon, an Israeli drone strike targeted the road between Safad al-Battikh and Majdal Selm, killing one civilian.
Separately, Lebanon’s Ministry of Public Health Emergency Operations Center confirmed that an Israeli airstrike on a civilian vehicle in Hosh al-Sayyid, in the Hermel District, resulted in the martyrdom of two civilians. The ministry also reported that an Israeli strike on the town of Janata, in the Tyre District, wounded another civilian the previous night.

Border Towns Under Fire
In the border town of Houla, Israeli drones dropped explosive devices at dawn, damaging construction equipment and multiple civilian vehicles in the town center.
Israeli drones also carried out repeated attacks around Aitaroun and Blida, dropping sound bombs and explosive devices while Israeli positions at Malikiyah fired heavy machine-gun rounds toward Lebanese territory.
One of the drone attacks ignited a fire inside a residential home in Blida. Civil Defense teams later extinguished the blaze after the house was struck by an explosive-laden drone, causing significant internal damage.
Ground Incursion and Home Demolitions in Kfarkela
In a serious escalation, Israeli occupation forces crossed into Lebanese territory and carried out controlled demolitions of civilian homes in Kfarkela, a border town in southern Lebanon. The incursion and demolitions constitute a direct breach of both Lebanese sovereignty and the ceasefire framework.
Local sources described the move as part of Israel’s ongoing policy of intimidation and destruction against border communities.
Heavy Military Presence and Aerial Provocations
A formation of six Israeli warplanes was observed flying over the Bekaa Valley and southern Lebanon, further heightening tensions. Later in the evening, an Israeli Merkava tank stationed at a newly established military position in Jabal Blat fired direct shells between the towns of Marwahin and Umm al-Tut in southern Lebanon.
Pattern of Aggression, Not Isolated Incidents
These attacks are not isolated violations, but part of a sustained Israeli campaign against Lebanon that combines airstrikes, drone warfare, artillery fire, and ground incursions. The repeated breaches of the ceasefire underscore Israel’s continued reliance on military aggression and collective punishment, while ignoring international law and regional stability.
As Israeli forces persist in their assaults, the Lebanese people and the resistance continue to assert their right to defend sovereignty, protect civilians, and confront occupation-driven aggression that threatens the entire region. (PW)
