Thousands Protest Netanyahu in Tel Aviv, Demand End to War and Policy Shift
Demonstrators call for ceasefire, early elections, and an end to settlement expansion as political pressure mounts on Israeli leadership.
Israel, PUREWILAYAH.COM — Thousands of Israelis took to the streets of Tel Aviv on Saturday night, protesting against the policies of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and calling for an end to ongoing military confrontations.
The demonstration, held at Habima Square in central Tel Aviv, saw participants demanding a halt to the war, early elections, and a shift in the government’s political direction. Protesters carried placards calling for the preservation of democratic values and accountability from the current leadership.
A significant number of demonstrators also voiced opposition to settlement expansion in Palestinian territories and plans related to the annexation of the West Bank, chanting slogans against these policies.
Police forces maintained a visible presence at the scene but did not intervene, as the protest had been coordinated in advance with authorities. The gathering concluded without reported clashes.
Mounting Political Pressure on Netanyahu
The protest comes amid a relative easing of security restrictions in central areas, including Tel Aviv, following the implementation of a temporary ceasefire between Israel and Lebanon, allowing public gatherings to resume.
Separately, Israeli opposition leader Yair Lapid recently criticized Netanyahu’s performance, describing it as a “complete political failure” and calling for accountability.
The occupied Palestinian territories have witnessed a surge in weekly protests in recent months, many of which are linked to dissatisfaction with the government’s handling of developments following the October 7, 2023 events and their aftermath.

In remarks addressing the scale of the damage, the mayor described the strikes as causing widespread destruction across the occupied city.
He stated that approximately 1,000 housing units are currently unfit for habitation.
The mayor also added that reconstruction efforts and the resettlement of affected residents will require immediate government support.

Who cares about these apartheid squatters? Thousands? Out of 8 or 10 million Jews of rapist and murderer and starvation neuroperverse depraved Klansman?
The sheriff’s office says it planned a tiered, strategic response to the protest that it says was appropriate to possible resistance from activists.
This dude above trying to tutor us about zionism versus Judaism? All Jews in Israel are Zionists. It's not their land. Simple calculus.
As I’ve said before, not all Jewish people are Zionists, they know they are evil. Just as we know the so called Christians that call themselves Nationalists are not Christians. Both are evil and both Trump and Netanyahu must be rebuked, condemned and all guilty need to be brought to justice by the world court and tried for war crimes.
