In a glaring display of Washington’s continued desperation to dictate terms of surrender in West Asia, U.S. presidential envoy Jared Kushner recently embarked on a shuttle diplomacy mission that ultimately highlighted the unwavering resolve of the Palestinian Resistance and the paralysing political decay of the Zionist regime.
Kushner, acting as a representative of the so-called American “Peace Council,” held talks in Cairo with a high-level Palestinian delegation led by Khalil al-Hayya, a senior leader in the political bureau of Hamas. He then travelled to occupied Tel Aviv for a four-hour meeting with Zionist Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. The primary objective of the envoy’s tour was to salvage a proposed “roadmap” for Gaza—centred around a 15-point framework that the Palestinian Resistance had already accepted, but which the occupying regime had categorically rejected.
The Resistance Stands Uncompromising
During the Cairo meetings, the Palestinian delegation made it unequivocally clear that the era of one-sided concessions to the Zionist entity is over. Khalil al-Hayya firmly rejected any attempts to reopen negotiations or water down the provisions of the accepted 15-point framework.
Reportedly looking the American envoy in the eye, al-Hayya delivered a blunt message to Washington:
“Your turn has come. We have negotiated at length; now it is your time to act and pressure the occupying forces.”
Instead of entertaining further compromises on the rights of the Palestinian people, al-Hayya placed the burden of action squarely on the United States and its illegitimate proxy in Tel Aviv. The stance of the Resistance left Kushner with a “positive impression” of the Palestinian position, further proving that the armed factions are acting from a position of ideological strength and grounded reality, rather than weakness.
Netanyahu’s Domestic Crisis Paralyses the Occupiers
While the Palestinian Resistance stood firm on principle, Kushner’s subsequent four-hour marathon meeting with Benjamin Netanyahu yielded absolutely zero breakthroughs. The reason for the Zionist regime’s intransigence is transparent: it is entirely driven by the domestic political survival of its leadership.
With Israeli elections looming and public opinion polls showing declining prospects for Netanyahu’s fragile coalition government, the Zionist Prime Minister cannot afford to make any tangible concessions. Instead of engaging in good faith, the occupying regime continues to push its maximalist and illegal demands, chief among them the complete disarmament of Palestinian resistance forces before any talk of withdrawal or the reconstruction of Gaza can take place.
A Futile American Endeavour
Kushner reportedly pledged to al-Hayya that he would pressure Netanyahu to give the Gaza agreement a chance to succeed. However, history has repeatedly shown that American envoys hold no real leverage over the apartheid regime they unconditionally fund and arm.
The so-called “Peace Council” and its 15-point frameworks are merely elaborate mechanisms designed to strip Palestinians of their fundamental right to resist occupation and to normalise the Zionist entity’s chokehold on the region.
As Kushner returns to Washington with empty hands, the message from the Axis of Resistance is clear: there will be no dictated peace, no surrender of arms, and no normalisation of the occupation. The Zionist entity’s reliance on American political cover continues to crumble against the steadfastness (Sumud) of the Palestinian people and the unbreakable will of their armed resistance.
