Tehran Warns: All U.S. Bases Within Missile Range
Iran Signals End of Western Military Dominance in the Region Amid Missile Advancements and Stalled Diplomacy
Iran, PUREWILAYAH.COM - Brigadier General Aziz Nasirzadeh, Iran’s Defense Minister, announced on Wednesday that every U.S. military base across the region is within striking distance of Iranian missiles.
His statement comes amid escalating regional tensions and reflects Iran’s uncompromising stance against the continued foreign military presence near its borders.
“In case of any conflict, the U.S. must leave the region because all its bases will be within our range,” Nasirzadeh stated during a cabinet meeting.
He further emphasized that Iran would not differentiate between U.S. bases and the host countries sheltering them. Any aggression, he warned, would be met with a decisive and devastating response.
Firm Military Posture as Diplomacy Hangs in the Balance
While still open to diplomatic resolution, Nasirzadeh made clear that Iran remains fully prepared for confrontation if necessary.
“God willing, the talks will come to a result,” he said. “But if it does not come to an end and a conflict is imposed on us, the casualties of the other party will definitely be much heavier than ours.”
Foreign Minister Signals Hope for a Deal
In a related development, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi expressed cautious optimism over the prospect of a nuclear agreement.
Posting on X, Araghchi noted that even U.S. President Donald Trump entered office with a stance that echoes Iran’s position—“Iran should not have nuclear weapons”—a shared premise that could pave the way for common ground.
“An agreement that can ensure the continued peaceful nature of Iran's nuclear program is within reach—and could be achieved rapidly,” Araghchi said.
He stressed that any deal must be balanced and mutually beneficial, grounded in Iran’s right to enrich uranium under IAEA supervision and the full termination of unjust sanctions.
New Missile Test Demonstrates Strategic Power
General Nasirzadeh also revealed a major military breakthrough: the successful test of a new missile armed with a two-ton warhead.
“Our most recent achievement came last week when we successfully tested a missile carrying a two-ton warhead, with excellent results.”
He underscored Iran’s self-reliance and progress in defense, stating:
“We have made very good progress in defense affairs. Our operational forces are fully equipped.”
A Clear Message to the Region and the West
Tehran’s message is unambiguous: the era of unchecked Western military dominance is over. With a combination of diplomatic initiative and growing military capability, Iran is asserting its sovereignty and rejecting external pressure.
As Western powers attempt to dictate regional security dynamics, Iran’s advancements serve as both a deterrent and a declaration of independence—rooted in national dignity, resilience, and strategic self-sufficiency. (PW)
