Tehran Friday Prayer Imam: No One Dares to Attack Iran Anymore
Tehran Friday preacher says any attack on Iran will fail, warns against trusting Trump, and stresses unity, vigilance, and resistance in negotiations and ceasefire period.
Iran, PUREWILAYAH.COM - Ayatollah Seyyed Ahmad Khatami, this week’s Friday prayer Imam in Tehran, referred in his remarks to the course of negotiations and the behavior of the American side, saying that among the presidents of the world, there is no one as prone to lying as Donald Trump.
He stated that Trump posts 14 tweets from night until morning and, over four years, has told three thousand lies—an average of 22 lies per day. He emphasized that one must deal with such a person with complete distrust.
He praised the performance of the negotiating team of the Islamic Republic of Iran, adding that as soon as the delegation saw that the United States was making excessive demands, it left the negotiating table. He said that the Americans are trying to achieve at the negotiating table what they failed to gain on the battlefield.
Praise for Domestic Institutions and Public Expectations
Ayatollah Khatami also expressed appreciation for the efforts of executive and judicial institutions, stating that the government officials did not allow the people to face hardship during this period.
He also thanked the judiciary for dealing accurately, swiftly, and justly with the enemy’s operatives and for confiscating their assets. He added, however, that when people see security officials arresting the enemy’s operatives, they also expect punishment.
Referring to the characteristics of the negotiating team, he said that the negotiators were from among the people—like those attending Friday prayers—and that as soon as they realized the Americans were making excessive demands, they left the negotiating table.
Warning Against the Enemy and Emphasis on Unity
He continued by stating that no one will dare to attack Iran anymore. He said that an attack may take place, but it will not lead anywhere, and this Revolution will endure.
Ayatollah Khatami, recalling the words of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, said that even the enemy’s smiles must be met with distrust—especially an enemy like Trump, who is the embodiment of lies.
Referring to the ceasefire conditions, he stressed that during the ceasefire period, trust in God and the presence of the people on the scene are of special importance.
The Tehran Friday prayer Imam emphasized obedience to the Leader, saying that one must neither move ahead nor fall behind, but rather move in line with Wilayah. The Imam, the martyred leader, and the third leader of the Revolution have always emphasized unity.
He concluded by saying that the people will not submit to negotiations under humiliation. (PW)
