Shia Thought Calls for Global Reform, Says Grand Ayatollah Javadi Amoli
Iranian cleric says Mahdism offers a model for justice in today’s world

Qom, PUREWILAYAH.COM — Grand Ayatollah Abdullah Javadi Amoli has said that Shia thought has an important role to play in changing the world for the better. He explained that the belief in Mahdism—the return of the promised saviour, Imam al-Mahdi—shows people a way towards fairness and justice for all.
The Ayatollah pointed out that today’s world is very connected through technology, and that people everywhere are searching for justice. This, he said, makes it the right time to share the message of Mahdism with the wider world.
He also urged Shia scholars and communities to take part in many areas of life, including education, culture, politics, and even defence. By doing this, they can show that Shia Islam is not only about faith, but also about building a fair society for everyone.
According to him, the world is now more ready than ever to hear about a system of justice that goes beyond borders and divisions. If presented clearly, Shia thought could offer a vision that appeals to people across different nations and cultures.
Ayatollah Javadi Amoli’s message reflects a growing effort among Shia leaders to present their ideas as solutions for global problems, not just as religious teachings for their own communities.
