BEIRUT — Hezbollah Secretary-General His Eminence Sheikh Naim Qassem has reaffirmed that the path of Resistance is the only viable strategy to dismantle the Zionist occupation and liberate usurped lands.
In a powerful address delivered to the “Martyr of Resistance Conference,” held in Pakistan to commemorate the 55th anniversary of the founding of the Imamia Students Organisation (ISO), His Eminence highlighted the historical success of the Resistance model in Lebanon.
Sheikh Qassem noted that the Lebanese people have tested and proven this path, which not only liberates territory and restores human dignity but also forces the Zionist enemy to withdraw in humiliation. Furthermore, he stressed that steadfast struggle breathes new vitality into the Palestinian cause.
“Confronting global arrogance and the Israeli entity can only be achieved through Resistance,” the Hezbollah Secretary-General declared, emphasising that armed struggle remains the absolute necessity for reclaiming stolen lands.
Defining the comprehensive nature of the struggle, Sheikh Qassem stated that Resistance means fundamentally rejecting the occupier and fighting whenever and wherever possible, with every individual contributing according to their role and position on the battlefield.
Addressing the sacrifices inherent in this path, His Eminence dismissed the enemy’s temporary material advantages, pointing out that the Zionist entity will inevitably suffer material setbacks. He emphasised that true victory lies in unwavering resilience and denying the occupier its strategic objectives.
“Even if it takes days or months, we are victorious because we have remained steadfast and prevented them from achieving their objectives,” Sheikh Qassem asserted.
Concluding his address to the Pakistani youth and students, His Eminence stressed that the immense sacrifices made on the path of liberation are a sacred duty for the rightful owners of the land.
“We are people of right, and owners of the land, and we must resist no matter how great the sacrifices are, and victory will come, God willing,” Sheikh Qassem vowed.
