Sheikh Qassem: Project to Eliminate Hizbullah Failed; Israel Will Withdraw From Every Inch of Our Land
Hizbullah Secretary-General details what he describes as a coordinated American-Israeli strategy against the Resistance and unveils a 12-point plan to confront it.
Lebanon, PUREWILAYAH.COM – Hizbullah Secretary-General Sheikh Naim Qassem outlined what he described as a 12-point American-Israeli campaign against the Resistance and a corresponding 12-point strategy adopted by Hizbullah to confront it, declaring that efforts to eliminate the movement have failed.
Speaking at Hizbullah’s Central Ashura Council, the Hizbullah chief said Lebanon is passing through its most dangerous phase and warned that military pressure is being combined with political, economic, intelligence, and media measures directed against the Resistance.
According to Sheikh Qassem, the campaign extends far beyond military operations and seeks to weaken the Resistance politically, economically, and socially while reshaping Lebanon’s future in line with Israeli objectives.
“America leads this entire orchestra and this plan in all its details and in every direction,” he said.
The Resistance leader also framed the current confrontation through the example of Imam Hussein and Karbala, describing steadfastness, sacrifice, and refusal to submit to oppression as the foundations of victory.
“The very fact that we have taken Imam Hussein as our path is a victory, because this authentic Islamic path is a victorious path. It is the implementation of Allah’s commands for the benefit of humanity.”
He said victory should not be measured solely through battlefield outcomes but through perseverance, commitment to principles, and the ability to continue resisting despite pressure and sacrifice.
The 12-Point Campaign Against the Resistance
The central focus of Sheikh Qassem’s address was what he described as a coordinated campaign aimed at eliminating the Resistance and its role in Lebanon.
According to the Hizbullah Secretary-General, the strategy consists of twelve interconnected components designed to isolate, weaken, and ultimately dismantle the Resistance.
1.Israel’s war on Lebanon and efforts to force the Resistance into surrender.
2.The United States and Israel abandoning the November 27 agreement following regional developments that altered the balance of power.
3.Using Lebanese political institutions as cover for measures targeting the Resistance.
4.Closing air, sea, and land routes to prevent weapons, technology, and logistical support from reaching the Resistance.
5.Blocking reconstruction efforts in areas affected by war.
6.Imposing a comprehensive financial siege.
7.Attempting to provoke confrontation between the Lebanese Army and the Resistance.
8.Pressuring Syria to become part of the campaign against the Resistance.
9.Attempting to ignite Sunni-Shia and broader sectarian tensions inside Lebanon.
10.Providing international and Arab political cover for pressure campaigns against the Resistance.
11.Mobilizing intelligence agencies, media networks, and political pressure to isolate and weaken Hizbullah.
12.The United States directing and coordinating the entire campaign.
According to Sheikh Qassem, these measures form a single integrated strategy intended to force the Resistance into surrender and remove it from Lebanon’s political and security landscape.
A Resistance Built on Sacrifice
During the address, Sheikh Qassem returned repeatedly to the lessons of Karbala, arguing that fear of death has never been an effective weapon against movements rooted in faith and conviction.
“We are a people who do not fear death. Even if none of us remained because of the threat of death, we would still carry out our duty. Therefore, we do not fear death.”
He pointed to Imam Hussein’s martyrdom as proof that sacrifice does not equate to defeat, saying the message of Karbala continues to shape generations more than fourteen centuries later.
The Hizbullah chief said the Resistance derives its strength not only from military capabilities but from a worldview built upon steadfastness, faith, and willingness to sacrifice.
Hizbullah’s 12-Point Response
Alongside his assessment of the challenges facing the Resistance, Sheikh Qassem outlined a 12-point strategy that Hizbullah has adopted in response.
The plan combines military adaptation, organizational restructuring, social support, reconstruction efforts, and long-term strategic planning.
1.Maintaining a clear objective centered on defending Lebanon and liberating occupied territory.
2.Reviewing and restructuring military organization and command systems based on lessons learned from recent battles.
3.Revising combat doctrine and battlefield tactics to adapt to future confrontations.
4.Developing weapons capabilities and expanding drone programs.
5.Preserving the spirit of sacrifice and determination among Resistance fighters.
6.Supporting the social needs of its people despite difficult circumstances.
7.Providing reconstruction assistance and housing support for approximately 300,000 affected families.
8.Preserving unity among Hizbullah, the Amal Movement, and allied forces.
9.Adopting a long-term strategy rather than relying on expectations of a quick resolution.
10.Adopting silence and ambiguity while preparing for future confrontations.
11.Maintaining what Sheikh Qassem described as a “Karbala decision.”
12.Exercising patience where patience was required and fighting where fighting was required while insisting that there is no return to what existed before March 2.
“We have taken a Karbala decision. Do you know what a Karbala decision means? It means there is no ceiling, and that Karbala decision remains in force.”
He presented the strategy as evidence that the Resistance has adapted to changing conditions while preserving its organizational cohesion, military readiness, and social foundations.
“The Project to Eliminate Hizbullah Has Failed”
In the final section of the speech, Sheikh Qassem argued that despite military pressure, sanctions, political campaigns, and regional developments, the central objective of dismantling the Resistance has not been achieved.
He said Hizbullah remains present, organized, and capable of continuing the confrontation while maintaining its position within Lebanon.
“The project to eliminate Hizbullah and entrench the occupation has failed. Be confident that victory, in the sense that leads to the expulsion of the Israeli enemy from our land, will be achieved, Allah willing.”
The Hizbullah Secretary-General also expressed confidence that Israel would ultimately be forced to withdraw from all remaining Lebanese territory.
“Israel will withdraw from every last inch of our land.”
Concluding his remarks, Sheikh Qassem called on supporters to remain steadfast and confident, describing the current confrontation as part of a longer struggle in which perseverance, sacrifice, and adherence to principle ultimately prevail over pressure and coercion. (PW)
