Sheikh Qassem Hails “Sayyed’s Generations” at Historic Gathering of Imam al-Mahdi Scouts
At the world’s largest scouting assembly, Hezbollah’s deputy leader declares youth the bearers of faith, justice, and resistance
Lebanon, PUREWILAYAH.COM - In a monumental and emotionally charged scene, Beirut’s Camille Chamoun Sports City hosted the largest scout gathering in Lebanon’s and possibly the world’s history, organized by the Imam al-Mahdi Scouts Association under the banner, “Sayyed’s Generations – A Covenant of Faith, Resolve, and Hope.”
The event commemorated the first anniversary of the martyrdom of Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah and Sayyed Hashem Safieddine, while marking the 40th anniversary of the association’s founding.
Chief Commissioner Nazih Fayyad announced a record participation of 74,475 male and female scouts from across Lebanon — a rare national display of unity, discipline, and ideological devotion.

Symbolism of Unity: Flags, Oaths, and National Loyalty
The massive assembly featured symbolic marching formations, national and resistance anthems, and renewed pledges of loyalty to the martyred leaders.
A towering portrait of Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah stood at the stadium’s center, while scouts raised the flags of Lebanon, Palestine, Iran, and Yemen in perfect synchrony — a testament to shared values of dignity, liberation, and sacrifice.
The stands were adorned with banners of “Covenant and Hope,” reflecting the spirit of collective resilience.
Diplomatic delegations, cultural and religious figures, and representatives of Lebanese scouting movements attended, emphasizing that true nation-building begins with moral education and faithful generations.
Sheikh Naim Qassem: “You Are the Radiant Future of the Resistance”
Addressing the vast sea of youth, His Eminence Sheikh Naim Qassem, Deputy Secretary-General of Hezbollah, delivered a message centered on faith, guardianship (Wilayah), and the eternal mission of resistance.
“You are the radiant future, the pioneers of righteousness and justice.
You are Sayyed’s Generations, walking the path of Guardianship under the leadership of Imam Khamenei.”
Sheikh Qassem emphasized that resistance is far more than armed struggle — it is a comprehensive moral, cultural, educational, and political identity founded on sacrifice and loyalty.
“Resistance is the struggle against the self and against the enemy — it is faith, will, steadfastness, dignity, and independence.”
He reminded the scouts that Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah personally cared for their upbringing, shaping a generation built upon commitment, courage, and purpose.
“For you, the covenant of faith, determination, and hope was built — for your future.”
A Pledge to Imam al-Mahdi and the Path of Martyrs
In a heartfelt conclusion, Sheikh Qassem expressed pride and spiritual kinship with the youth:
“I am honored to be among you. I love you all, and I pray that we await together the reappearance of our Imam al-Mahdi (may Allah hasten his reappearance).”
Thousands of scouts responded with oaths of obedience, reaffirming their promise to remain steadfast on the path of resistance — a movement not born of politics, but of covenant, sacrifice, and destiny. (PW)
