Senior Iranian Commander Warns: If Another War Begins, It Will Be Transregional
Brigadier General Arasteh says Iran has prepared decisive scenarios against the US and Israel, declaring that American dominance in the Persian Gulf has already ended
Iran, PUREWILAYAH.COM — A senior Iranian military commander warned that if war erupts between Iran and the United States, the Islamic Republic will unveil its decisive advantage, stressing that the world will witness the accelerating decline of American power.
According to IRIB News, Brigadier General Nasser Arasteh, deputy head of the Military Advisers Group to the Commander-in-Chief, stated that Iran has already prepared comprehensive scenarios for any possible confrontation with Washington and its allies.
He stressed that if war breaks out, Iran will unveil a decisive capability that will fundamentally alter the balance of conflict in the region.
“America will no longer remain in the Persian Gulf”
Brigadier General Arasteh stated that the recent 40-day war demonstrated the vulnerability of American military infrastructure in West Asia.
According to him, 13 out of the 16 major US military bases in the region were destroyed during the conflict.
“Whether war happens or not, America will no longer remain in the Persian Gulf,” he declared.
The senior Iranian commander portrayed the ongoing regional transformation as evidence that American military dominance in West Asia is steadily collapsing under the pressure of resistance movements and Iran’s expanding strategic capabilities.
Iran prepared for direct confrontation
Arasteh stated that the true confrontation between Iran and the United States would begin once Iranian forces engage directly with American and Zionist forces on the battlefield.
“We seek direct confrontation with the American and Zionist enemies in the battlefield, alongside confronting atheists and separatists,” he said.
He warned that any future conflict would not remain limited to one country or one front.
“If another war begins, it will be transregional,” Arasteh emphasized.
War would stretch from the Indian Ocean to the Mediterranean
The Iranian commander warned that the geographical scope of any future confrontation would extend from the Indian Ocean to the Mediterranean Sea.
According to him, all enemy military positions and strategic interests throughout that area would become targets.
“We will set enemy positions and interests throughout this entire region ablaze,” he declared.
Arasteh further warned that countries supporting the Zionist regime — including Cyprus and certain neighboring states assisting Israel — would not remain untouched in the event of a wider regional war.
“Wherever American and Zionist interests exist, we will turn it into hell”
In one of the strongest parts of the interview, Brigadier General Arasteh stated that no location connected to American or Zionist interests would remain secure if war erupts.
“Wherever American and Zionist interests exist, we will turn it into hell,” he warned.
The remarks reflected Iran’s increasingly assertive posture following the recent regional conflicts and the growing confidence expressed by Iranian military and Resistance Front officials regarding the decline of American influence in West Asia.
Warning against destabilization campaigns inside Iran
Arasteh also warned about what he described as ongoing counter-revolutionary efforts aimed at destabilizing Iran internally.
He stated that hostile groups are attempting to exploit social conditions and empty streets to recreate unrest scenarios similar to previous disturbances in the country.
“We must continue our presence in the streets in order to disappoint the enemies and the counter-revolution,” he said.
The commander emphasized that national unity and public participation remain essential components of Iran’s resistance strategy against foreign pressure and destabilization efforts. (PW)
