Sayyed Houthi Warns Saudi: You Will Not Succeed in Protecting Israeli Ships
Ansarallah leader denounces Saudi-British maritime partnership in Red Sea, says all efforts to secure Israeli vessels are doomed to fail
Yemen, PUREWILAYAH.COM -Sayyed Abdul Malik al-Houthi, leader of Yemen’s Ansar Allah movement, warned the Saudi regime against becoming involved in the aggression on Yemen in service of the Israeli enemy. He stressed that any efforts to protect Israeli navigation in the Red Sea would fail.
In a televised speech on Thursday, al-Houthi referred to the Saudi announcement of a maritime security partnership with Britain, declared at a Riyadh conference with more than 40 participating states, and said the move was effectively aimed at protecting Israeli vessels.
He underlined that any claim to “protect navigation” at this stage in reality means securing Israeli shipping.
Al-Houthi explained that the only vessels being targeted are those belonging to the Israeli enemy, questioning whether Saudi ships had ever been attacked.
He recalled that British vessels were struck only when the United Kingdom joined the aggression against Yemen in support of Israel and the United States.
He further described the Saudi announcement — made at the height of Israeli crimes in Gaza and violations against Syria, Lebanon, Qatar, and the wider Ummah — as a betrayal of the nation, warning that such efforts will not succeed.
“You Will Not Succeed in Protecting Israeli Ships” — A Direct Warning
Al-Houthi told the Saudi leadership bluntly: “Be ashamed of yourselves — you will not be able to protect the Israeli enemy’s ships in the Red Sea.”
He called any attempt by Saudi Arabia, Britain, or any other party that aligns itself with Israel to protect its vessels a failure and a source of disgrace.
He added that those who join the Israeli side in any aggression against Yemen will be confronted under the same framework used against the Israeli enemy itself. “Whoever enlists with the Israeli enemy is a loser,” he said, calling such alignment a major scandal at this stage.
Rejection of “Iranian” Labels and Focus on Israeli Threat
Al-Houthi dismissed characterizations of Yemen’s position as being driven by Iran, calling such descriptions propagated by the Israeli enemy and repeated by client regimes like parrots.
He said these labels are used to rationalize Israeli actions and to justify the betrayal and collaboration with Israel by certain states.
He framed the maritime threat in concrete terms: the danger in the Red Sea, Bab al-Mandeb, Gulf of Aden and Arabian Sea, he said, is directed at Israeli ships, and Yemen’s maritime posture is presented as a legitimate and principled support for the Palestinian people against an enemy that threatens the entire Ummah.
Continued Naval Restrictions and Call to Stop Aiding Israel
Al-Houthi reiterated that Yemen’s stance and operations — described as part of the “Battle of the Promised Victory and the Sacred Jihad” — will continue across all tracks.
He declared that the ban on navigation for Israeli vessels in the Red Sea and Bab al-Mandeb remains in effect, and warned that any attempts to halt Yemeni operations aimed at protecting Israeli navigation will fail.
He further argued that Saudi Arabia’s intelligence, financial, and political service to the Israeli entity will not benefit the kingdom, asserting that Israel merely exploits Saudi cooperation.
Closing Appeal and Rhetorical Finale
In closing, Sayyed al-Houthi repeated his advice to Saudi and other regimes: do not entangle yourselves in militarily supporting the Israeli enemy to protect its ships at sea.
He emphasized that any such involvement will be met with Yemen’s position toward the Israeli enemy and described continued efforts to protect Israeli navigation as doomed to fail. (PW)
