Sayyed Houthi: USS Truman Relies on Evasive Tactics, Downing of F-18 Shakes U.S. Military
He affirmed that the U.S. carriers rely on tactics of evasion and maneuvering in order to avoid direct confrontation. The downing of F-18 jet lies in its moral impact
Yemen, PUREWILAYAH.COM - Sayyed Abdul Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi – may God preserve him – affirmed on Thursday that numerous interception operations have been successfully carried out against American warplanes during their ongoing aggression against Yemen, and that a large number of their operations have been thwarted.
Sayyed al-Houthi stated this in a televised address delivered on the occasion of the annual anniversary of the "Sarkhah" (Cry) slogan.
“The American often resorts to launching its aggressive operations from long distances before penetrating Yemeni airspace,” he stated, emphasizing, “The American fails to achieve its goals. It has not succeeded in weakening our capabilities, nor has it ended them, and it has been unable to halt our operations.”
Yemeni Operations Continue Deep into Occupied Palestine
Sayyed al-Houthi noted that Yemeni operations continue to target the depth of occupied Palestine against the Israeli enemy, and that the American enemy has been unable to stop them.
He added that naval operations are ongoing, and that there is a complete blockade against Israeli maritime navigation in the Red Sea, Bab al-Mandab Strait, Gulf of Aden, and the Arabian Sea.
“The Israeli enemy is in a state of despair over the possibility of resuming its use of maritime navigation in the Red Sea,” he said.
Confrontation with U.S. Aircraft Carriers
Sayyed al-Houthi further stated that Yemeni armed forces have engaged with U.S. aircraft carriers and their accompanying naval vessels in both the Red Sea and the Arabian Sea.
He affirmed that the U.S. carriers rely on tactics of evasion and maneuvering in order to avoid direct confrontation.
Downing of F-18 Fighter Jet Carries Strategic and Moral Impact
Regarding the downing of the F-18 fighter jet, Sayyed al-Houthi emphasized:
“Its significance is not limited to its material value, but lies in its moral impact as well, through the evident American confusion. It has become clear that the aircraft carrier USS Truman will leave the region carrying the mark of failure in fulfilling its mission.”
U.S. Unable to Break the Will of the Yemeni People
Sayyed al-Houthi stressed that:
“The United States has not been able to break the will or the morale of our noble people, and this is the most important aspect of all.”
He went on to describe the British as “a submissive follower of the United States, and an old, weakened arm of Zionist evil,” adding: “Britain is entangling itself, and it must be prepared to face the consequences of its participation in the aggression against our country.”
U.S. Crimes Against Civilians Reflect Hatred and Failure
On the crimes committed by the American enemy against Yemeni civilians, Sayyed al-Houthi stated:
“These are not military achievements. Rather, they reflect hatred and failure.”
He affirmed that the blood shed by the Americans will not go in vain, and that
“By God’s permission, they (the American) will face dire consequences for their crimes.”
Sayyed al-Houthi emphasized that American crimes do not weaken Yemeni capabilities, nor do they target leadership, nor do they affect the firmness or the stance of our resilient people.
He also highlighted that the American crime against African migrants must be condemned by the entire world, adding:
“These crimes confirm that the United States is the enemy of the entire Yemeni people — not just a particular faction.”
Yemeni People Remain Steadfast
He added:
“No matter the crimes, our people continue their activities and remain steadfast in their position — and this is clearly evident, thanks to God.”
He concluded by stating that the American aggression has not impacted the strength of Yemen’s position, nor its willpower, determination, capabilities, or conviction in its cause, affirming:
“We feel God’s care, His help, and His victory. Our responsibility is to remain steadfast, to continue, and to work towards accumulating meaningful achievements.” (PW)
