Sayyed Houthi: UN Failed Gaza, Netanyahu’s Speech a Disgrace to the World
The Ansarallah leader condemned the UN General Assembly’s failure to act against Israeli crimes in Gaza, denouncing the presence of Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu at the UN as a global disgrace.
Yemen, PUREWILAYAH.COM - Sayyed Abdul-Malik al-Houthi criticized the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly, saying its outcomes did not include any real or practical steps to prevent Israeli aggression and genocide in Gaza.
He noted that while speeches at the Assembly acknowledged Palestinian rights and Israeli brutality, they amounted to mere complaints with no hope for change.
He stressed that such outcomes cannot protect Lebanon, Syria, or any other nation in the region.
UN’s Shameful Stance
The Yemeni leader underscored that the Assembly’s acknowledgment of Israeli tyranny and Palestinian rights is useful to some extent but insufficient to shield the region from crimes and genocide.
He declared it a disgrace that the UN admitted “Israel” as a member state from the start and that it allowed “criminal Netanyahu” to enter its halls and deliver a speech, despite being widely regarded as a criminal by the international community.
Netanyahu’s Crimes Exposed
Sayyed al-Houthi emphasized that, apart from the United States—which he described as a partner in Israeli crimes—all nations agree that Netanyahu is a criminal wanted by international courts for violations of law and human rights.
He denounced Netanyahu’s UN speech as boasting of the “most horrific crimes” and denying the ongoing genocide in Gaza, which the world witnesses daily.
Despite the evident suffering of Gaza, Netanyahu attempted to glorify Israeli atrocities, presenting his stance as the “correct” one.
“This insistence is a clear declaration to continue crimes and to boast of what has been done,” Sayyed al-Houthi said.
Call for Action Against Israeli Aggression
The Ansarallah leader urged Muslims and the international community to assume their responsibility by moving beyond rhetoric to real actions.
He called for economic, diplomatic, and political boycotts of Israel as the minimum response, stressing the need for genuine efforts to impose isolation on the Zionist entity.
“There must be effective boycotts, especially at the economic level, and real efforts to impose a broad isolation on the Israeli enemy,” he said.
Support for the Palestinian Resistance
Sayyed al-Houthi concluded by calling for greater support and embrace of the fronts confronting Israeli tyranny, foremost among them Gaza, the Palestinian people, and the fighters resisting the occupation.
“The duty is to support Gaza, the Palestinian people, and the mujahideen in Palestine, as they stand at the forefront of confronting this criminal entity,” he affirmed. (PW)
