Sayyed Houthi Rejects Trump’s Claim: U.S. Withdrew After Being Defeated
He revealed that in the face of failure, the U.S. was forced to consider halting its support for Israel—as was publicly declared and reportedly conveyed to Yemen
Yemen, PUREWILAYAH.COM - Sayyed Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi dedicated part of his Thursday speech to discussing the intensifying Yemeni operations targeting the American and Israeli enemies during the past week.
He presented a detailed breakdown of the operations conducted during the second round of confrontation with the American enemy, which began on the 15th of Ramadan and lasted until the 9th of Dhul-Qa’dah.
During this period, Yemen carried out more than 131 operations, involving 253 ballistic, cruise, and hypersonic missiles, along with drones, despite the heavy American bombardment against the country.
Strikes Deep into Occupied Palestine
He added: “This past week, we executed multiple operations using 10 missiles and drones, targeting occupied Jaffa, Ashkelon, the Negev, Umm al-Rashrash (Eilat), and Haifa.” He affirmed that U.S. aerial and naval bombardments against Yemen during this latest phase amounted to more than 1,712 strikes.
U.S. Escalation Fails to Stop the Resistance
Sayyed al-Houthi noted that this second phase of American aggression represented a clear escalation to support the Israeli enemy, yet it failed miserably.
This escalation, he stressed, did not impact Yemeni military capabilities, nor did it halt the operations or diminish the people’s will.
Instead, he highlighted that despite the intensification of U.S. attacks, the Yemeni people turned out in the millions across hundreds of squares in unprecedented demonstrations unmatched anywhere in the world.
Washington Withdraws Support After Defeat
He revealed that in the face of failure, the U.S. was forced to consider halting its support for Israel—as was publicly declared and reportedly conveyed to Yemen through its brothers in the Sultanate of Oman.
He categorically rejected former U.S. President Donald Trump’s claim that Yemen’s position came from negotiation or surrender, saying, “That is farther than the sun itself from reality—it is an impossibility in every sense.”
Yemen’s Position: Faith-Driven and Effective
Sayyed Abdul-Malik continued: “As a Yemeni people, our support for the Palestinian cause against the Israeli enemy stems from faith, and we have truly witnessed the aid, support, and victory of Allah.”
He emphasized: “If our people’s position were not impactful, the Americans would not have mobilized their full power—aircraft carriers, bombers, and beyond. If our stance were mere theatrics, America would not have gone to such extremes in response.”
Strategic Impact of Yemeni Support for Palestine
He explained that the intensity of U.S. bombardment and the magnitude of their mobilization is proof of the effectiveness of Yemen’s stance—by Allah’s help and success.
He described how Yemen’s direct support for Palestine through naval action—namely the blockade on Israeli shipping—achieved complete success. Similarly, the continued drone and missile operations into the depths of occupied Palestine have sustained their momentum and impact.
Targeting Key Enemy Assets: Ben Gurion and Aircraft Carriers
Sayyed al-Houthi mentioned some of the key operations carried out during the week, including the strike on Ben Gurion Airport in occupied Jaffa, as well as the ongoing targeting of U.S. aircraft carriers, particularly the USS Harry S. Truman.
He stated that there has been a positive development in both the escalation of support operations and in confronting the American aggression.
He highlighted that the Ben Gurion operation resonated widely on a global level, drawing significant attention from experts and analysts.
Regarding the aircraft carrier attacks, he explained: “We conducted intensified strikes on aircraft carriers, and the scandal involving the downing of F-18 jets revealed the impact of these operations.” He firmly asserted, “The effectiveness of our military operations proves that we are in a strong and stable position.” (ARN)
