Sayyed Houthi: Israeli Aggression Will Only Strengthen Yemen’s Resolve
These aggressions will not break our nation’s will. Rather, they will make us stronger and more determined to continue the battle
Yemen, PUREWILAYAH.COM - In his weekly televised address on Thursday, Sayyed Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi strongly condemned the Israeli airstrikes on Sana’a and Al-Jawf, stressing that they did not represent any achievement for the Zionist regime.
He described the attacks as “acts of criminal bankruptcy” that sought to strike media institutions and crowded civilian areas in the Yemeni capital.
According to him, such targeting reveals the enemy’s intent to inflict harm on all peoples of the region, draining them in conflicts and political positions that ultimately serve Israel and the United States.
“These aggressions will not break our nation’s will. Rather, they will make us stronger and more determined to continue the battle,” Sayyed al-Houthi declared.
No Path Other Than Resistance
The Ansarullah leader underlined that the Yemeni people have no alternative other than steadfast resistance. He rejected the path of surrender or submission to domination, stressing that the people of Yemen are too dignified by their faith to accept humiliation.
“Our sacrifices are far less than the losses we would face if we chose another path. Supporting Palestine is a religious obligation, a moral duty, and an ethical responsibility,” he stated.
He warned that any choice other than resistance would mean futility and waste:
“True honor, dignity, and goodness lie with God, in His path, and in every sacrifice we make in this just position.”
Yemen’s Operations in Support of Gaza
Sayyed al-Houthi provided detailed updates on Yemen’s operations against Israel during the past week.
38 operations were carried out using missiles and drones.
23 drone strikes hit targets in Hadera, Jaffa, Ashdod, Ashkelon, the Negev, and Umm al-Rashrash.
Successful operations included strikes on Ramon Airport and a major attack towards Lod Airport.
Additionally, two naval operations targeted Israeli commercial vessels in the northern Red Sea.
He emphasized that Israel’s targeting of Yemeni civilian officials, including the Prime Minister and colleagues in civil ministries, “is not a military or security achievement but rather proof of its failure and its deepening criminal record.”
A Genuine and Sacred Position
Sayyed al-Houthi reaffirmed that Yemen, both at the official and popular levels, is taking a sincere stance in a serious battle of great importance and sanctity.
The sacrifices being made, he said, have profound value before God and real effects in the regional struggle.
He criticized international bodies such as the United Nations, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, and the Arab League, saying they have failed to protect the Palestinian people or hold Israel accountable.
He argued that reliance on God, trust in Him, and adherence to His guidance are the only sources of strength.
Call for a Million-Man March
The Ansarullah leader called on the Yemeni people to hold a massive rally on Friday in Sana’a and all provinces to reaffirm their stance against Israel and their solidarity with the Palestinian cause.
“This is an expression of our steadfastness in the face of the Israeli enemy, regardless of its crimes and aggression against our country,” he said.
He explained that the rallies also coincide with the blessed Prophetic Spring season, making them both a religious and moral declaration of solidarity.
Sayyed al-Houthi stressed that Friday’s demonstration would also express support for Qatar, the Palestinian negotiating delegation, and all those targeted by Israel in the region.
Responding to al-Qassam Brigades’ Call
In his speech, Sayyed al-Houthi also highlighted a call from the al-Qassam Brigades, urging Muslims to pray two humble units at night for the relief of Gaza.
He urged Yemenis and the broader Ummah to embrace this call:
“Supplication and reliance on God are fundamental to the path of jihad. Prayer must accompany action, as we continue our movement and struggle in obedience to God.” (PW)
