Sayyed Houthi: Israel Seeks to Impose “Equation of Permissibility” on Arab-Islamic Nations
The Ansarallah leader condemns Israeli strike on Qatar, criticizes Arab inaction, and warns of broader aggression in Syria and Lebanon
Yemen, PUREWILAYAH.COM - In his weekly address on Thursday, Sayyed Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi stressed that the Israeli enemy is determined to entrench what he described as the “equation of permissibility,” a framework in which the Zionist regime treats the Arab and Islamic nations as entirely violable.
He warned that Israel is working to ensure that no Arab or Muslim country can escape this imposed equation, citing the recent aggression against Qatar as proof.
Dual Aggression on Qatar
Sayyed al-Houthi explained that the Israeli assault on Qatar represented a dual aggression: first, by targeting the Hamas negotiating delegation residing in Doha, and second, by violating Qatari sovereignty and spilling Qatari blood.
He underscored that Israel’s attack disregarded Qatar’s role in peace mediation and its international and regional relations, exposing Tel Aviv’s disregard for all norms and rights.
“The Zionist enemy, backed by the Americans, revealed to all Arab states, in the Gulf and beyond, that it seeks to expand and consolidate the equation of permissibility,” he said.
He also expressed relief at the survival of Hamas leaders after the failed Israeli assassination attempt in Doha, congratulating the movement on escaping the attack.
Criticism of Arab and Islamic Responses
The Ansarullah leader criticized the weak Arab and Islamic reactions to repeated Israeli crimes, including the aggression on Qatar.
He lamented that most responses have been reduced to written statements:
“Some regimes are so cautious that they choose words to avoid even hurting the enemy’s feelings. This strategy of mere declarations without practical action is foolish and misleading,” he said.
Sayyed al-Houthi decried the lack of decisive measures, noting that not a single Arab state that normalized ties with Israel has severed relations despite its crimes in Gaza, Qatar, Syria, Lebanon, and Yemen.
Broader Aggression Against Syria
Turning to Syria, he described the continued Israeli airstrikes as an extraordinary escalation, part of what he called “the David Corridor” — a project to link Israeli presence with U.S. forces and expand toward the Euphrates.
He said Israel is trying to impose control over southern Syria, exploiting what he described as the “reckless policies” of local groups that cooperate with the occupation.
According to him, the consequences of these moves threaten not only Syria but also Iraq, Jordan, and neighboring states, as part of the same imposed equation of permissibility.
Pressure on Lebanon’s Resistance
Addressing Lebanon, Sayyed al-Houthi criticized political pressures on the Lebanese government to disarm the resistance. He argued that the real aim is to pave the way for Israel’s domination over Lebanon without resistance.
He noted the irony of Arab regimes stripping their nations of defensive capabilities while Israel continues to arm itself with the most advanced weaponry.
“This is a catastrophic approach. The Ummah is being disarmed, while the enemy is allowed to equip itself with the deadliest arms,” he warned.
Sayyed al-Houthi concluded by emphasizing that Israeli brutality stems from the absence of practical Arab and Islamic measures. He urged nations not to limit themselves to statements of solidarity but to take real action against Israeli aggression. (PW)
