Sayyed Houthi Honors Martyred Al-Qassam Commander Mohammad Odeh
The Yemeni resistance leader says the assassination of senior Al-Qassam commander Mohammad Odeh and his family will deepen the resolve of Palestine’s resistance front
Yemen, PUREWILAYAH.COM — Ansarullah leader Sayyed Abdul-Malik al-Houthi issued a message of condolence following the martyrdom of senior Al-Qassam Brigades commander Mohammad Odeh and his family in a Zionist strike on the eve of Eid al-Adha, praising the Palestinian resistance for its unwavering steadfastness in the face of war and siege.
In a statement published by Al-Masirah, Sayyed Abdul-Malik said he received news of the martyrdom “with great pride and deep sorrow,” extending condolences and congratulations to “our heroic mujahideen brothers in the Al-Qassam Brigades,” as well as to Hamas, the Palestinian resistance factions, the Palestinian people, and the wider Axis of Jihad and Resistance.
Their Determination Has Never Been Broken
The Yemeni resistance leader stressed that the martyrdom of Commander Mohammad Odeh is part of the long record of sacrifice carried by the resistance fighters confronting what he described as the “front of disbelief, criminality, and tyranny.”
Sayyed Abdul-Malik praised the steadfastness of the resistance fighters in Gaza, declaring:
“Their determination has never been broken, nor has their will weakened before any challenge, by Allah’s help and grace.”
He added that the martyrdom of resistance leaders only strengthens the spirit of confrontation and steadfastness against the Zionist regime and its allies.
“The Path of Jihad Is a Sacred Divine Obligation”
In his statement, Sayyed Abdul-Malik reaffirmed that the Resistance Axis continues its struggle with reliance upon Allah, describing resistance against occupation and oppression as both a sacred duty and a historic responsibility.
“The path of jihad against the enemies of Allah is a sacred divine obligation.”
He further stated:
“Allah has made it a path, a weapon, and a fortress in confronting tyrants and arrogant powers.”
The Ansarullah leader also cited Quranic verses promising divine guidance and victory to those who struggle in the cause of Allah.
Al-Qassam: The Blood of Leaders Will Not Break the Resistance
Meanwhile, the Al-Qassam Brigades said Martyr Mohammad Odeh left enduring marks across the fields of jihad and resistance and built a legacy that will remain “a beacon for generations.”
The movement stressed that the blood of its senior commanders would only increase its determination to continue the path of resistance and complete the struggle that the Palestinian people have carried for nearly a century.
The martyrdom of Commander Mohammad Odeh and his family comes as the Zionist regime continues its devastating assault on Gaza amid escalating regional tensions involving multiple fronts of the Resistance Axis. (PW)
