Sayyed Houthi Holds US–Israel Responsible for Iran Violence, Hails Iranian Resistance
Yemeni leader says Washington and ‘Israel’ orchestrated armed riots in Iran, but popular vigilance crushed the destabilization campaign
Iran | PUREWILAYAH.COM - Sayyed Abdulmalik al-Houthi, the leader of Yemen’s revolution, has placed full responsibility for the recent wave of violence in Iran on the United States and the Israeli enemy, describing the unrest as a foreign-engineered operation aimed at destabilizing the Islamic Republic.
In a televised address on Thursday, Sayyed Abdulmalik said the killings, arson attacks, and destruction of public property in Iran were carried out by criminal gangs operating under direct American and Israeli incitement and backing.
He described the attacks as “American-stamped” crimes, stressing that the armed groups deliberately targeted Iranian civilians, security personnel, and dozens of mosques, employing brutal methods including slaughter and the burning of people alive.
“The American and Israeli enemy each incites, adopts, and claims support for these crimes,” he said, drawing a clear line between the violence on the ground and Washington’s long-standing policy of pressure, sanctions, and economic warfare against Iran.
Sanctions, Chaos, and the Failed Strategy to Control Iran
Sayyed Abdulmalik explained that the United States systematically manufactures crises by imposing sanctions and siege, then exploits the resulting economic hardship to provoke internal chaos through criminal elements acting as its frontline tools.
According to the Yemeni leader, the objective of this strategy is straightforward: to weaken, destabilize, and ultimately dominate Iran.
However, he stressed that this scheme has decisively failed.
“The United States failed in the face of the awareness and vigilance of the Iranian people,” Sayyed Abdulmalik declared, emphasizing that foreign-backed violence was unable to fracture Iranian society or undermine the Islamic system.
He noted that intelligence assessments inside Iran have confirmed that the rioters received intelligence, operational, logistical, and financial support from Washington and the Israeli regime’s Mossad spy agency.
Millions Defy Destabilization, Affirm Iran’s Revolutionary Path
Sayyed Abdulmalik pointed to massive nationwide demonstrations in Iran as clear evidence of the failure of the US–Israeli plot, saying the Iranian people responded with unity, resolve, and revolutionary consciousness.
He said millions of Iranians took to the streets to affirm their true identity, their commitment to the Islamic system, and their refusal to submit, succumb, or surrender to American domination.
“The activities of these criminal gangs collapsed on a massive scale,” he stated, adding that the rapid decline of the riots demonstrated the strength of popular vigilance and national cohesion in Iran.
Sayyed Abdulmalik concluded that just as the foreign-backed gangs failed in Iran, broader American conspiracies across the region will also fail in the face of steadfast resistance, awareness, and unwavering commitment to independence and sovereignty. (PW)
