Sayyed Houthi Hails the Resistance, Calls for Arab and Islamic Unity as the Key to Victory
In his address to the Arab National Conference, the Yemeni leader underscores the unity of the resistance, denounces U.S.–Israeli domination, and details Yemen’s major contributions
Yemen, PUREWILAYAH.COM — In a powerful speech delivered to the Arab National Conference, Sayyed Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, leader of Yemen’s Ansarullah movement, highlighted the grave challenges facing the Arab and Islamic Ummah amid continuous conspiracies, wars, and attempts at domination led by the United States and Israel.
He emphasized that the timing of the conference was highly significant, as the region continues to witness wide-scale aggression aimed at subjugating nations, confiscating their legitimate rights, and dismantling their elements of strength.
Sayyed al-Houthi stressed that, given the magnitude of the threats facing the Ummah, elites and intellectuals must take a leading role in mobilizing awareness and resistance among the people to counter the broad conspiracies targeting all Arab and Islamic nations.
U.S.–Israeli Partnership Behind a “Formula of Violation”
The Yemeni leader denounced the Israeli occupation’s partnership with Washington in establishing what he described as a “formula of violation,” in which the victim is always blamed while the aggressor imposes its will.
He pointed to the ongoing efforts to strip Lebanon and Gaza of their defensive capabilities, noting that these weapons have prevented Israel from dominating the region over the past two years.
“The Israeli enemy, with full American backing, seeks to disarm the hands that protect Lebanon and Gaza,” Sayyed al-Houthi warned, “and some of those loyal to America and Israel are complicit, disregarding the disastrous consequences this would bring to the entire Ummah.”
He described the Zionist regime as a criminal, arrogant, and ruthless enemy, exposing its barbarity through acts of genocide in Gaza, including:
Starving civilians to the point of denying infant formula for babies.
Targeting newborns and premature infants in hospital incubators.
Setting police dogs on elderly patients.
Executing captives by crushing them under tank chains and looting their organs.
“These crimes reveal to the entire world the extent of Israeli cruelty and its detachment from all human values,” he declared.
“The Only Path: Strength and Resistance”
Sayyed al-Houthi reaffirmed that the only viable approach for the Ummah to confront Israeli and Western ambitions is through steadfastness and empowerment, not submission.
He lamented the existence of factions within the Arab world that distort awareness, echo enemy propaganda, and attempt to portray the conflict as a mere Iran–Israel dispute, denying the clear reality that it is the Arabs who are being occupied, massacred, and dispossessed.
“The Iranian role,” he explained, “is one that supports the Arabs and stands with Islamic causes. To deny this is to betray the truth.”
Yemen’s Pivotal Role in Supporting Gaza
Highlighting Yemen’s frontline contribution to the Axis of Resistance, Sayyed al-Houthi revealed detailed figures demonstrating Yemen’s extensive involvement in supporting Gaza over the past two years:
1,830 military operations carried out — including ballistic and cruise missile launches, drone strikes, and naval attacks.
228 enemy vessels targeted in the Red Sea and Arabian Sea, forcing the closure of Eilat Port (Umm al-Rashrash) and inflicting heavy economic losses on Israel.
22 U.S. MQ-9 drones shot down, thwarting American military plans to cripple Yemen’s capabilities.
Direct confrontations with five U.S. aircraft carrier groups, forcing their withdrawal and earning U.S. acknowledgment of Yemen’s tactical prowess.
3,000 airstrikes conducted by U.S. and Israeli aircraft — including B-2 and B-52 bombers and F-35 jets — against Yemeni positions.
The martyrdom of hundreds of Yemenis, among them Prime Minister Abdul Aziz bin Habtoor and senior officials, as well as Chief of Staff Muhammad Abdul Karim al-Ghamari.
A Popular Revolution in Solidarity with Palestine
Sayyed al-Houthi also praised the unprecedented public mobilization in Yemen, describing it as a historical expression of faith and defiance:
Weekly million-man marches across hundreds of squares nationwide for two consecutive years.
Scholarly and tribal conferences, student protests, and women’s rallies exceeding half a million collective events.
Over one million citizens trained through military mobilization programs and field maneuvers.
Continuous fundraising efforts, despite Yemen’s severe economic hardship.
He stated that these massive activities represent “a living testimony of Yemen’s steadfastness and loyalty to the cause of Palestine.”
Resistance Fronts and the “Golden Equation”
Sayyed al-Houthi commended the Lebanese Resistance, particularly Hizbullah, for its “great stability and decisive deterrence,” emphasizing the “golden equation” of Army, People, and Resistance, which has preserved Lebanon’s sovereignty and deterred Israeli aggression for years.
He stressed that all fronts of support — in Lebanon, Yemen, Iraq, and Iran — played a decisive and unified role in forcing Israel to halt its aggression after two years of war.
The Fruits of Steadfastness and the Path Ahead
He affirmed that the steadfastness of Gaza and the Resistance Fronts, coupled with global awakening and mass movements worldwide, had become the main pressure factors forcing Israel and its Western allies to announce a ceasefire.
However, Sayyed al-Houthi warned that Israel is attempting to circumvent the truce and return to its criminal path, calling on all movements within the Ummah to retain and develop their elements of power to prevent this.
“We must continue to strengthen every component of our power,” he urged, “to ensure that the enemy cannot recover from the blows it has suffered.”
A Call for Unity and Faith
Concluding his address, Sayyed Abdul-Malik al-Houthi prayed for relief, victory, and steadfastness for the Ummah:
“We ask Allah Almighty to grant victory to our oppressed Ummah against this arrogant and tyrannical enemy,” he said.
“May our unity and resistance remain the shield that protects our nations and our dignity.” (PW)
