Sayyed Houthi: Gaza Is Facing A Horrific Tragedy—The Silence of the Ummah Is a Shame
Yemeni Resistance Leader Condemns Arab and Muslim Inaction, Warns of Moral Collapse Amid Gaza Genocide
Yemen, PUREWILAYAH.COM - Sayyed Abdul-Malik Badreddin al-Houthi, in a powerful address on Sunday, described the current situation in Gaza as “absolutely terrifying.”
He emphasized that "many of Gaza’s people are in extreme hunger, facing a horrific tragedy, while hundreds of millions of Arabs and two billion Muslims watch as if they belong to a paralyzed nation.”
He stressed that the Palestinian people in Gaza are experiencing the most critical stage of starvation, where “children are dying from hunger daily,” pointing out that the Israeli enemy has manipulated humanitarian aid into traps of mass murder and extermination.
A Danger to the Entire Ummah
Sayyed al-Houthi stated that the scale of tragedy and oppression in Gaza poses a real danger to the entire Ummah.
He condemned the silence and abandonment of responsibility by Muslim countries, saying it “will have severe consequences both in this life and the hereafter.”
He criticized the moral decay within the Islamic world, saying the indifference to Gaza reflects a deep decline in awareness, humanity, and noble values. "The absence of honor and courage has reached a terrifying level,” he said, “and shows the Ummah’s urgent need to reform according to God’s laws of change.”
A Deep Disgrace for Arabs and Muslims
He further called the inaction toward the starving children of Gaza “a major disgrace, especially for the Arabs, and for Muslims in general.”
According to Sayyed al-Houthi, the staggering level of betrayal has made the Israeli and American enemies confident that no real reaction will come, no matter how far their crimes go.
Facing the American-Israeli Tyranny
Sayyed al-Houthi also addressed the broader threat posed by American-Israeli tyranny, calling it a force of enslavement, humiliation, injustice, and corruption in the world.
He warned that it targets the sacred values of the Muslim Ummah and aims to erase its Islamic identity.
He concluded that the only correct path to confront this threat is through a sincere and serious movement rooted in the guidance of the Holy Qur’an and a firm faith-based stance.
He emphasized that the battle—whether soft war or hard war—must be faced with the light and direction of the Qur’an. (PW)
