Sayyed al-Houthi: Yemen Ready for Any Escalation, Coordinating With Resistance Axis
The Yemeni leader says coordination continues with the Resistance Axis regarding developments in Palestine and Lebanon, warning regional actors against being drawn into conflict on behalf of Israel
Yemen, PUREWILAYAH.COM — Sayyed Abdul-Malik al-Houthi reaffirmed Yemen’s readiness to confront any future escalation and revealed ongoing coordination with the Resistance Axis regarding developments in Palestine and Lebanon, while warning governments and political forces throughout the region against serving American and Israeli objectives.
Delivering an Eid al-Ghadir address on Thursday, the Yemeni leader discussed developments in Palestine, Lebanon, Iran, and Yemen, as well as what he described as growing American and Israeli influence across the region.
He said the current confrontation extends beyond Gaza alone, describing developments in Palestine, Lebanon, Iran, and Yemen as connected issues. He also reaffirmed Yemen’s readiness for any future escalation and stressed that coordination remains ongoing with the Axis of Jihad, Resistance, and Al-Quds regarding developments in Palestine and Lebanon.
Gaza and Regional Responses
Addressing the situation in Gaza, Sayyed Abdul-Malik criticized the positions adopted by many governments in response to the ongoing war.
“What governed the position of most governments and regimes regarding the Israeli aggression on Gaza was the American dictate and Zionist instruction.”
He said many governments had failed to take meaningful action despite the humanitarian situation facing Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.
“They watched the Palestinian people in Gaza starve while many of their children died from hunger.”
“They witnessed genocide, the killing of infants, children, and entire families, yet remained bound by American and Zionist directives.”
According to Sayyed Abdul-Malik, foreign influence now plays a significant role in shaping political decisions throughout the region. He said this has affected the way many governments respond to major regional crises, including the war in Gaza.
American and Israeli Influence
Sayyed Abdul-Malik also spoke about what he described as growing American and Israeli influence across the Arab and Islamic worlds.
“There is acceptance within the Ummah for Zionist Jews and their arms in the world to become those who control its affairs.”
He said the issue extends beyond foreign policy and affects political leadership, education, and public life.
“The criterion in much of the Arab and Islamic world has become whether a leader is accepted by America.”
The Yemeni leader also criticized changes to educational materials in some countries.
“Even educational curricula are altered, Qur’anic verses are removed, and teachings are erased in order to appease the Jews.”
He warned that dependence on foreign powers weakens the ability of countries to make independent decisions and protect their interests.
Palestine, Lebanon, Iran, and the Region
Sayyed Abdul-Malik said the conflicts affecting Palestine, Lebanon, Iran, and Yemen should not be viewed separately.
“Their aggression targets Palestine, Lebanon, Iran, Yemen, and the entire region under the banner of ‘Greater Israel’ and the reshaping of the Middle East.”
He said his movement’s position toward Israel and the United States is based on what he described as Qur’anic principles.
“Our position toward the Zionist Jews and the leaders of disbelief, America and Israel, is a Qur’anic position.”
The Yemeni leader said the dangers facing the region extend beyond Palestine and include broader political and security challenges affecting multiple countries.
He also reiterated support for Palestine and Lebanon and stressed the importance of cooperation among resistance movements.
Yemen Ready for Any Escalation
At the end of his speech, Sayyed Abdul-Malik reaffirmed Yemen’s readiness for any future developments.
“We affirm our readiness to confront them, with Allah’s help and trust in Him, in any round of escalation or any developments within the current situation.”
He said coordination remains ongoing with resistance movements regarding developments in Palestine and Lebanon.
“We are in full coordination with our mujahideen brothers in the Axis of Jihad, Resistance, and Al-Quds regarding what is happening in Lebanon and Palestine.”
The Yemeni leader also warned governments and political forces throughout the region against becoming involved in conflicts that serve Israeli interests.
“We advise all forces and parties in our region to beware of being drawn by America into fighting in service of the Zionist enemy.”
“The American is indeed seeking to bring them to this point: to enter a comprehensive battle in service of the Zionist Jews and in service of Israel.”
He said those who follow such a course would ultimately face negative consequences.
“Its outcome for them will be loss, disgrace, humiliation, and dangerous consequences.”
Sayyed Abdul-Malik concluded by calling for adherence to the Qur’an and what he described as the path of Wilayah.
“Salvation, dignity, and success lie in loyalty to Allah, under the banner of His Party and His allies.”
